Eggs

This was the day. Maggie was finally done with the shots and her eggs had been removed. Everything was ready for them to start the next step, witch was putting the embryo in Alex's belly.

When the day of the procedure came they both got even more excited but also nervous, specially Alex.

"Babe... I think you should try to take a little nap. I know you haven't slept much last night. There's a lot of traffic anyway... just try to relax before we get there." Maggie looked at Alex and gave her a warm smile.

She smiled back at her before closing her eyes.

Alex was asleep in the passenger's seat.
They were told the procedure went great and now they were driving back home.
Maggie has a million things going trough her brain right now. They didn't know if it actually worked yet but she had a good feeling about it.
She couldn't stop smiling.
The thought of her and Alex having a baby made her the happiest she ever been.
"I love you so much." She whispered to her sleeping, badass, alien kicking ass, girlfriend.
