Welcome home

Alex had only spent a couple of days at the DEO until she got the okay from the doctor to go home. She couldn't go back to work right away but she was happy to get to relax in her on place.
She needed a little bit of private time witch she couldn't get at the DEO because there was constantly someone walking trough the door. (And the glass wall didn't help)

They arrived at their place. Maggie opened the door for her girl.

"I'll take this." Said Maggie, taking Alex's coat.

"Thanks babe."

"How about you get comfy on the couch and I prepare us something to eat?"

"You need help?"

"No... I'm good sweetie. I'd rather have you sit back. Plus the doctor told you, even if she gave you the okay to come home, you need to take it easy." Maggie gave a warm smile to Alex who had made her way to the couch.

"She said to take it easy mags, not to stop living." Alex giggled a bit.

"I know. But you still get those dizzy spells sometimes." Maggie walked over to Alex.

"How about we make a deal Danvers. For the next week you let me and Kara take complete care of you. By the end of the week you'll probably be able to go back to work anyway."
Alex went to say something but Maggie cut her off.

"And Kara already agread to help. She said her phone would be open 24/7 if you need anything while I'm not around. She's also going to be here in like an hour. I have to work tonight so she'll spend the night with you."

"Do you really think all of this is necessary?" Alex asked.

"Yes, I do." They smiled to each other. Maggie got closer and pressed her lips against Alex's.
They slowly pulled back.

"I believe you said something about cooking something to eat?" Alex smirked.

"I did Danvers. But first..."

Maggie kissed her girlfriend once again, but a little longer this time. Words can't explain how happy she is to have her Danvers with her, alive and healthy.
