Kara and Alex hadn't move since the older girl fell asleep. Kara didn't want to wake her sister up because she really needed a good night of sleep. She had not had one in a while.
Kara was catching up on some show on netflix when Maggie got back from work.

"Hey Maggie."

"Hey little Danvers. You're still up?" Kara usually went to bed pretty early witch is why it surprised Maggie to see her awake at 1:15am.

"I didn't want to wake her up."

Maggie looked at Alex. Even when her girlfriend was sleeping, she couldn't help but think that she was the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.

"How did she feel tonight? Was she feeling all right?"

"She was all right. She didn't get dizzy or anything. And she told me her head wasn't hurting anymore."

"Good." Maggie let out a big breath and took a seat on the chair next to the couch.

"You all right?" Kara asked her.

"Yeah. It's just..."

Maggie took a moment. She briefly looked at Kara. She then looked at her feet.

"I don't know. It's stupid." She kept her head down. She always felt wierd talking about her feelings. The cop rarely opened up to people. The only people she felt comfortable enough to open up to are Alex and Kara. She feels like she can talk about anything to them without feeling judged.

"What is it? You can talk about anything with family. And Mags... we're family." Kara tried to comfort her with a smile.

Maggie smiled back. <Family> she thought. She felt really lucky. Not only had she found her soulmate, but she also found people she could call family. Kara, who she considered a sister.

"I'm feeling a lot of things right now. I mean... I'm happy, exited, scared, nervous... I just want to be there for Alex and be though. It doesn't really make sense, does it?"

"It does. But just know that being there for Alex doesn't mean not talking to her about your fears. You'll love and listen to her and make her feel better when she's feeling down. And she's going to do the same for you."

"Thanks."
Maggie said while still smiling at Kara.

"You know... your really good at giving advice and making people feel better little Danvers."

"Yeah. It's one of my superpowers." They both let out a giggle.

Kara and Maggie decided to watch a movie. It took a few minutes but they eventually agreed on watching one of Maggie's favorite.
Neither of them made it through half of the movie before falling in a peaceful sleep.
