Chapter 13

Maggie's pov

"Maggie I'm here, let's go!" Mike shouted. "Ok." I replied as I walked towards his car. "Wow, your car is actually pretty comfortable. I thought that your car would be modified to help you drift faster but it is pretty normal. How come?" I asked once I got into his car. "Well I don't always drift and this is the only car I use, so I want it to be nice to drive every day. Plus this is my dad's car." He replied. "Oh so this is your dad's car. By the way, how did you became so good at drifting?" I asked again. "My dad and used to drive me around Akina when I was little so I was very familiar with it after a few years and he used to be a street racer when he was younger." He said. "Enough talk, shall we go now?" He asked. "Oh sure." I replied as I put on the seatbelt. While we were going up the mountain, decided I observed the way Mike drives. He actually drives and change gears very smoothly. I don't know why, but the way he drives makes me fell... calm.

Mike's pov

"So Maggie, what do you think about Akina?" I asked. She didn't respond. "Maggie?" I asked again. Still no respond. "Maggie?" I asked turning my head around. Wait what????? I turned around and saw Maggie sleeping. I wasn't sure what to do, so I increase my pace to get up Akina faster while trying not to wake up Maggie.

Chi's pov

"Where the hell is Maggie and Mike?" Fred said frustrated. Maggie's never late, what's going on? "Well Maggie did texted me earlier saying that her car had some problems." I said. "Did she asked Mike to pick her up or something?" Fred asked. "She didn't say but there is a possibility." I replied. "Hey Fred, is it just me or do you think that Mike and Maggie are more than Friends?" I asked. "Now that you mention it. They do act a bit different when they're together and they do seem to see each other quite often." He replied. Suddenly I heard something coming closer. I turn around and see Mike's car coming. Soon Mike came out with a rather nervous looking face. "Mike what is it?" Bonbon asked while we walked towards him. "Umm... Look in the passenger seat." He said pointing at his car. When Mike opened the door we saw nothing...

EXCEPT MAGGIE SLEEPING IN HIS CAR!!!!!!!!! "OMG she looks so KAWAII!" I squealed quietly. She looks sooooooo adorable. "Yeah, she really does look cute." Mike said quietly. Soon his cheeks started to blush while looking at Maggie. "You like seeing Maggie like this." I said smirking at Mike. "W...what no." He said looking away while Bonbon and Fred also started smirking.

Mike's pov

"Screw you guys." I said as I lean towards Maggie. "Are you trying to KISS her?!" Bonbon screamed. "No I'm not idiot." I said in a pissed off tone. "Hey Maggie, wake up." I whispered while lightly tapping her cheek. "H...huh." She said sleepily as her eyes started open. "*Yawn* M...Mike... where are we?" She asked. Man she's really cute when she's sleepy. Damn it. "We're on Akina remember, you accidentally slept while I was driving." I replied. "Hey let's go to the others ok?"I asked"OK." She replied as we started walking toward everyone else. "Omg Maggie you look so KAWAII. Look. Look!" Chi squealed as she showed a pic of Maggie she took with her phone. Wait? When did she take that? Maggie and I took a look and looked at each other blushing a bit. Damn it, she looks sooo cute.

Maggie's pov

Wait, that's what I look? I turned around and Mike and I were looking at each other blushing. "Ummm... sorry if I cause any inconvenience while you were driving, Mike." I said felling embarrassed. "No, no it's alright, Besides you look cute sleeping." He replied smiling. Uuuuggghhhh why does he have to be soooo nice and cute. "Hey! You guys coming to join us or not?!" Fred shouted. "Alright, alright we're coming." Mike said as we started walking towards everyone.

10 mins later

"Wait how long did you serve detention for?!" I asked. "A week." Mike grumbled. "So you served a week of detention for accidentally spilling milk on your teacher?" Bonbon questioned. "Yes I did." Mike replied. "Wow, that seems a bit harsh if you asked me." Chi said. "Well I did cursed at him when he complained about me spilling my milk so that's probably why." Mike said. We all laugh in unison. "Well, I'm going to get some food from my car, you guys want some?" Fred asked. "Yeah.' We replied. "Hey Bonbon, Chi you guys mind helping me out." Fred asked. They nodded in agreement and followed Fred to his car. "So Maggie, what do you think about Akina." Mike asked. "It is amazing, especially the view. It's breath taking." I replied smiling. "Agreed. So when did you started racing?" He asked. "Well I learnt some tips and tricks when my brother was racing since I was about 15 but I only did actually racing this year." I replied. "Wow, you're a quick learner." He said. "What about you, when did you learn how to drift." I asked. "Well when ever my dad goes racing I would ask him if I could come along. I would sit in the passenger seat and watch him drift. I've been watching him since I was 13." He replied. 13!!!!! You've got to be kidding' me? "Wow, that amazing!" I yelled. Suddenly, Mike started looking down to the ground in sadness. "Mike? What's wrong?" I asked. He still hasn't responded. Uh oh, I did offend him? "Maggie?" He suddenly asked looking directly at me. "Uh... yes?" I asked nervously. "Did you ever have a tragic experience before?" He asked.

Mike's pov

Fuck me!!!! Why the hell am I asking her that!? "Well..." Maggie said nervously. Shit shit shit!!! I'm such a dumb idiot. "Did you ever have a similar experience?" She asked. Should I tell her, what if she thinks that it's a stupid example and that I'm just some cry baby? No, I trust Maggie. "Actually I did." I said as her eyes started to widen a bit. "When I was very young, I would get bullied and get called names at school. After a while I told my teaching and parents about my problem but it did stop. It went one for almost 3 years." I said remembering all those incidents. "Oh my... That must be terrible. So why did you become so short tempered?" She asked

Maggie's pov

Oh no, why am I asking such a personal question?! "Well, after those 3 years I Snapped." Snapped, what does he mean by that. "I felt that I had enough with them so I started throwing my temper. Shouting, punching and more. Sometimes I would do things like talking back to my parents even if I was pissed over very little problems." Mike said. Wow, so that's what happened to him. "I never knew your past was like this." I said. "It's alright now. Even though I am still like that, I fell much better." He said. "Why?" I asked. "Because I finally told someone about my problem and what makes me fell even better was that I told it to someone I trust and doesn't think that what I said was bullshit." He said smiling at me as I felt my cheek burning like crazy. I quickly turn away so that he can't see me blush. Does he really trust me that much. "So what about you?" Mike asked. Should I tell him. I'm not sure, especially after what happened between me and HIM, I'm not sure if it will be the same. No, Mike trust me and that's why he told me that but I should trust him as well?
