The next day

Mike's house

Mike's pov

"We I better head to the library to get some books for my project." I said as I walked out of the house. What?! Where's the 86. Once I got out of the house I went to get the 86 but I couldn't find it, I only saw Dad's new Fairlady Z. As I looked around I found a note stuck to the Z.

"Mike I took the 86 to change the engine, you should try driving the Z Up and down Akina for a while. I left the key in my room." The note says.

Well that explains somethings, well I still have some time guess I'll go.

10mins later

Mount Akina

"Holy Shit this is hard!" I shouted to myself. The Z has a few similarities to the 86 but The amount of power it had was UNBELIEVABLE. My stomach would tie itself into a knot even pushing the throttle hard in second gear. How can a car be so powerful?! On the uphill the power was very useful as I could get up faster than the 86 but on the downhill it was HORRIBLE. Every time I try I enter a corner I would almost always enter the corner too fast and almost crash. I gotta work on my braking and footwork for the gas pedal. After about 15 minutes I managed to get used to drifting an the downhill, but I still wasn't used to it. Dang this might take a while to get used to, well better head to the library.

At a nearby library

"Well better get cracking with that project." I said as I got out of the Z. Whao, they've completely changed everything. A few week ago, the library was closed as it was under renovation. But now it looks like it became double or even triple its original size. Well better get cracking.

An hour later

Alright I think this is all I need, I said as I walked to the Z with the books in my hands. After I put the books into the Z I saw something that caught my attention, I saw a S12 parked itself near my Z. Could it be her? Soon someone stepped out of the car, she was wearing a pink sweater, shorts and white shoes. After looking at her for a while, I confirmed that it was here. "Hey Maggie!" I shouted to get her attention. "Oh hi Mike, what are you doing here?" She asked. "I was here getting some books for my project. What about you?" I asked. "I'm actually here for the same reason. Do you think you can help me find the books I need? It's my first time coming here." She asked. "Sure." I replied as we walked into the library together.

2 hours later

"Man that took a bit longer than I expected." I said. "At least it's over, thanks for helping out time and again Mike." She replied smiling. "Hey I'm glad to help." I replied. "By the way, how is your S12?" I asked. "Well, my brother changed the suspension and a few other things. Right now, I'm planning on increasing the power. By the way where is your 86, I haven't seen it at all?" She asked. "My dad is currently changing its engine to a more powerful one, so I had to drive a new car he bought for himself." I replied. "Oh really, can I see it?" She asked excitedly. "Sure follow me." I said and lead her to the Z. "Wow this is your dad's new car, what is it?" I asked. "It a Fairlady Z. Nissan Fairlady S30 280Z." I replied. " That's one long name." Maggie replied while letting out a little chuckle. "Hey, it's not my fault this Z has a long name alright." I replied. "Well, i gotta go now. Bye Mike." She said and walked to her S12.
