Chapter 25

Maggie's pov

OMG IT"S MIKE?! "Alright Maggie, it's time." Mary said. "Hey wait!" "Come in, there's no time to waste." Once I walk to the front door, I slowly opened the door and saw Mike standing right in front of me. OH MY GOD! HE LOOKS SO COOL. He was wearing a white shirt, black pants, a dark blue hoodie and his hair was also really cool.

Mike's pov

OH DEAR LORD, the moment Maggie open the door I thought I saw an angle. She was wearing a pink dress, white shoe and tied her hair into 2 cute little pony tails. "WOW, Maggie you look..." I said but stopped.

Maggie's pov

Oh no what's wrong? Do I look bad?! Oh god "You look... Beautiful." He finished saying. Oh thank goodness. "T...thanks, you look really cool." I complemented. "Thanks, shall we go now?" He asked. "Yeah sure, let's go." I replied as we got into Mike's car. "So...where are we going?" I asked. "We're going somewhere we've been before." He replied smiling. "Oh ok." I replied. At least I should know how to act when we get there.

Huh, after driving for a few mins I realized that Mike was bring me up Mount Akina. "Hey Maggie, you've seen me drift before right?" Mike asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Well, do you wanna see me drift now?" "Yeah, sure." Oh my gosh, I've seen Mike drift before but not in the passenger seat. "Ok hold on." He said as he floored the acceleration. We soon approach a corner. I didn't say anything just holding tightly on the door handle while trying to stay calm. 

"NOW!" Mike shouted as he slammed his foot onto the brakes and broke his rear tiers loss. As he was drifting, I quickly took a peek at his speedometer. What?! He's drifting over 100 km/h! How?! Soon Mike exited the corner and continued accelerating while I was still in shock. "H...how did you?" "Let me guess, you've never knew what is was like drifting over 100 km/h?" "Yeah, how? Your amazing!" "Thanks."

Mike's pov

Phew I wasn't exactly sure if I was able to pull of that drift, I've done drifting over 100 km/h but not with this new engine. Anyway, I was glad Maggie liked my drift, now gotta get to the top quick.

Maggie's pov

"Hey Maggie, wanna see me go full throttle?" Mike asked. "Of course, show me watcha got." I replied as he stepped on the gas harder. After about 5 more corners, I was no longer scared of Mike's drift but started enjoying it. It was almost like an extreme roller coaster ride. Soon Mike parked his car at the top of the mountain. 

"Well Maggie, this is what I wanted to show you." He said as he got out of the car. "What do you want to show me?" I asked. "Just follow me." He grad my hand and lead me somewhere. We soon we were at a in Akina. "Look up." He said. I tilt my head up and saw a beautiful sunset with the sun's ray shining behind the mountain. "Whao, it's beautiful." I said. "Yeah it is." Mike replied. "Do you wanna hear a story about something that happened here?" 

"Oh sure." 

"Well, it happened 20 years ago. A man had found a woman that he loved, so he brought he up to this mountain during sunset and asked her to be his girlfriend."

"Wow and did she say yes?!"

 "...yeah, she did." "Amazing, do you know that couple." "Yes as a matter of fact, I do." Really who we were they?" "...they were my mom and dad." OMG That's so touching. "Maggie I've got something to tell you." Mike said. "Yeah, what is it?" I asked. "Well there was this girl who I've met and she change my life. She was kind, cute and a amazing person and that person... was you." Mike said smiling at me. 

Oh my god, he said it was me. My mind went completely blank, all I was thinking was Mike and his face shining against the sunset. "Maggie." He said holding my hand. "Will you... be my girlfriend." He asked. "Yes...yes I will!" I shouted jumping towards him and hugging him as tight as I could. I was so happy, I couldn't believe he asked me to be his girlfriend. There's nothing that could've made me happier, I've always love him and I feel so great to know that he also loves me.
