Conri's POV

I continued to stare at the field, pretending to pay attention to the fight, but I was really trying to get a look into Khons's mind, perks of being Alpha Omega. I pushed through the barrier but there was nothing, just blackness. I kept pushing until I could feel and see glimpses of emotions, none of them strong enough to grasp. Another push, I could almost read them when he turned to look at me. I pulled back slowly, he would have to be very powerful to even guard his emotions from me, much less feel me in his mind. Right before I pulled back completely, I felt a rush of emotions, panic, pain, protectiveness. I let go looking around me, people were screaming. Khons jumped up, running towards the field.

I turned to my right finding my daughter, hysterically crying, "Lina, what happened?" I ask calmly. "Daddy do something, he's killing him" she cries pointing toward the field. I look where she's pointing to see Rakeash tearing Macella apart, blood covering his gray coat. A terrifying growl erupts around us, as I see Khons body shift into a huge wolf, fur black as the night sky.

His growl caused all but the two wolves fighting to freeze. He jumped at the wolf fighting his brother, ripping at his flesh. The wolf yelps in pain causing him to let go and turn on Khons. I rush down to the field, shifting effortlessly, with Lina hot on my heels in her wolf as well. I push past the wolves and warriors to see Macella's wolf lying limp on the ground, his father covered in blood clutching at his fur with all he has. "Take him back to the house, someone go and get my wife! She is his only chance!" I yell. Everyone just stares at him. "NOW" I command. They jump in there place, scurrying to do as they are told.

I turn my attention to Khons and Rakeash. Rakeash would be marrying my daughter, but Khons attacked him, and Rakeash excepted. I stayed in my place, watching the to wolves snapping at each others flesh. I watched as Khons evaded Rakeash's attacks with ease, wrapping his teeth around Rakeash's throat. A kill shot, he shook him a few times, picking him up like a rag doll, before dropping him and backing away. "Shift" he commanded. Rakeash bared his teeth. "I said SHIFT! I want to see the light leave your eyes when I kill you with my bare hands" he yelled. I ran to the side of the field, shifting myself, slipping on a pair of shorts and grabbing two pairs and throwing them to the boys.

They both shifted, most of Rakeash's body was smeared with blood and deep wounds, Khons was barely even scratched. "Let's hope you fight better then your brother." Rakeash sneered, causing another vicious growl to come from Khons. I stepped back letting the boys continue to beat the hell out of each other. The fight went on for a while both of them dodging and landing punches that would simply break humans. Rakeash attacks again, this time Khons jumps over him, wrapping his arms around Rakeash's neck. The boys stand back to back as Khons pulls hard, receiving the satisfying sound of ripping flesh. "STOP" an Alpha voice commands, so strong even I bow, Khons doesn't let go of Rakeash, his eyes glazed over, completely black. "Khons, Marcella isn't dead, please don't do this." my daughters gentle voice rings through the field, I turn expecting to see her with an Alpha but she stands alone in the field. "Khons" she whispers. His eyes clear, as he slowly releases Rakeash. He steps towards Lina. Rakeash rises, attacking him from behind. Lina rushes forward "I said ENOUGH" she growls in the same Alpha voice I heard before. Rakeash drops to the ground whimpering. She turns to me, I just stare at her my mouth slightly agape. "Father, who won?" she asks. I just continue to stare at her for a moment before looking back to the boys. Clearly Khons had beaten Rakeash but he hasn't battled with the rest of them, nor finished Rakeash to take his position. "I don't know, it should be Khons but he never fought the rest, but clearly he would have beaten Rakeash..." I say still trying to make my decision. "No, I will not lose to him, let's set up another fight, let me heal and then we can fight!" Rakeash insisted.

Khons POV

"No, I don't want to fight anymore, I can beat all of them. I won't fight you again Rakeash." I say shaking my head. "No, I think you will both fight me." Conri says. I look up in disbelief, shaking my head, as I frantically look from Lina, back to Conri. "It's only fair." he says turning on his heels and walking back towards the house "You have a week" he yells over his shoulder. I stand there looking at Lina, all I want is to be with her, but I don't want to be an Alpha or the Alpha Omega I just want to be normal, but I can't watch her be with someone else. "Show me where my brother is?" I ask raising my eyebrows. "Yeah, follow me" she says, taking my hand. We both freeze, she looks up at me, her brows pulling together in confusion.
