I dashed into the house, and watched my mom put the rice down. I knew the drill kneel in the rice until my mom remembered I was here. So I did just that. I didn't know how long I kneeled there, but finally my mom came out, and I was banished to my room for the rest of the night. I wasn't allowed any dinner at all,but that wasn't unusual. I sometimes a had no dinner at all for two days. The next day, I got home from school. I realized that I couldn't live this life anymore. I packed my bag with what little I had. I took all my clothes. I packed a few books, that I thought would help me. I also packed my journals. I couldn't afford to leave those behind. I waited till night time to escape. When, night came I checked to make sure everyone had fallen asleep. I decided to head out the back door,so I wouldn't be seen. I wasn't sure how longed  I walked that night, but I rested my body against a large tree. I awoke with the sun shining in my face. I walked forward continuing to find who knows what. I walked along what I thought was an empty road. Until, a car can barreling at me, then black consumed me.
