I checked Pookie's head again, in the middle of the night. I placed her head gently, on the multiple pillows I had behind her. A few hours laters, the plane was about to land, and it wasn't the smoothest landing ever. Thankfully, it didn't wake up Sang. Raven, carefully carried her to the car and into Nathan's house. No one slept with her since we were all to tired to decide. It was pretty late, so all of us slept over even though it was a tight squeeze. Next morning,Saturday , I went to check on Sang. I quietly opened the door and shook her shoulder lightly. Immediately, she jumped out of bed dashing herself to the bathroom. In the place she slept, was a large red stain her-period- came today. I was pulled out of my gaze when Gabriel shouted,"Yo Doc, are you done checking her head I got to get her ready." Then him, and the rest of them came in and saw the stain. They ran and crowded by her bathroom door saying comforting words to her. Everyone, quieted when she started telling us the items she needs. Gabriel walked out and wrote down what Sang said, plus adding a few additional items.
Then Gabriel pointed to Kota and said,"You got get this shit, and if anyone asks its for your sister or just tell fuck off." Kota nodded and went to get the supplies. The others left the room except Gabriel and I. Kota, came back with the supplies and handed it to Sang through the bathroom. The he left the room. Gabriel, walked over and said,"Trouble, just put the sweats on and meet us in the kitchen" and he too was gone. I was still waiting when Pookie came out of the bathroom. She seemed surprised that I was still there. Her eyes moved to the stain and she blushed a little. I took her hand gently and pulled her over to the edge of the bed-where there was no stain- and sat her down. I sat with her and placed her hands in my lap. I took my finger and gently lifted her head,so her gaze was on me. Then I spoke,"Pookie, it's fine that you stained the sheet. None of us care that you did that, sheets can be washed or replaced. Also, you don't have to be embarrassed to tell us you need supplies for your period. We understand, that you are a young teenage who needed a those things. Besides, it's natural for all girls to have a period. Is this your first time because sometimes sweetie, girls get there period around eighteen or so."She just shook her head in a no position. "Do you need anything else?" Yet again she answered no. I told her it's time to dye eggs. She gave me a huge smile.
