I stared at the rather strange, to say the least, group of kids in front of me. I suppose this might've have been a bit rude but I'm only examining their appearances!

"Hey guys! This is my new friend, Peridot!" Lapis introduced me to them.

"Greetings." I say awkwardly.

Dammit Peridot! Why do you have to be so...yourself at moments like these?!

"Hello, I am Pearl." A tall-pale girl said. She had spiky hair and almost a bird like nose.

"Sup, Peridot, I'm Amethyst!" I looked to my left and saw a short-white-haired girl smiling at me. To be honest she was kinda cute, but I didn't say anything.

I heard noises that I only heard in Japanese Romance Animes . . . KISSING?! I shoot my head to the right and spot a couple making out in front of me! How disgusting! This is a inappropriate public showing of affection!!

I look away quickly and I hear the group laugh.

"It's okay, dude! Ruby and Saphy are always like that!" Amethyst said.

"Yes and it's so . . . revolting. To say the least." Pearl stated with a shook voice.

This was definitely a weird group. They all are so different! How could they possibly get along?! In my old school if people like them were that close they'd usually get into a fight! It's so weird . . . so special..?

I didn't notice I had zoned out and when I snapped back into reality everyone was staring at me.

Oh My Stars! How embarrassing!

I blush but cover it up with my hoodie.

"Why so flustered, Peri?" Lapis asked, my attention now on her.

"N-no reason!" I smile nervously as I adjust my glasses.

She laughed.

Why does she always have to look cute when she laugh?! Curse her natural affectionate self!

I watch as Lapis sits down and pats the seat next to her, indicating for me to follow. I oblige and awkwardly look around at the odd group.

How on earth could these people be friends?!
