Lapidot: A Second Chance at Love

After School Fanatics PT. 2

Lapis: "Wanna play truth or dare?~" She smirks.

Peridot: "T-that game's evil.." She scowls.

Lapis: "Pleeaase..?~ For me?~" She steps closer to her.

Peridot: "Ugh..fine." She blushes slightly and looks away"

Lapis: "YAY!" She grabs her arm and runs to the hallway, walks in the closet. "I just realized something."

Peridot: "What would that be?" She feels cramped.

Lapis: "I have no idea where the rooms are in this house." She giggles.

Peridot: "Duh!!" She adjusts her glasses.

Lapis: "Sorry..!" She laughs.

The two of them laugh and come out of the closet together. Lapis ran upstairs while Peridot only walked. Peridot was smiling, something she hadn't done in years. With her having to pay bills and apply for a new school it was all too much for her.

Peridot: "Shouldn't we at least do our homework first..?"

Lapis: "Cmon, Peridot! It's the first day of school! Live a lil!"

Peridot: She was entirely right. After all of the hardships I've faced I've never really enjoyed being a teenager. I haven't done anything besides bare the burden of my parents' deaths and all the work I've had to do. Maybe this is my chance to be free..

"Okay! Fine." I cross my arms and look at her.

Lapis: "Welll??" She raised and eyebrow and grabbed Peridot, and ran and jumped onto the bed.

They both laughed.

Peridot: I soon realized my face was in the middle of Lapis' cleavage. I blush madly but didn't push away because I didn't mind it.

Lapis: "S-sorry..!" She pulls away from the embrace, "Can you breath alright?~" She teased.

Peridot: THERE IT IS AGAIN. FLIRTATION. MY BOOKS NEVER WARNED ME ABOUT THIS!!!! "Y-yeah..! I can breathe alright!" I smile nervously and scratch behind my head.

Lapis: She laughs and sighs. "Alright, Peri, truth or dare?" She smirks.

Peridot: "We're really doing this aren't we?" I raise an eyebrow.

Lapis: She laughs, "Yup!..unless you don't wanna.." Her smile fades away a bit.

Peridot: "Fine. Truth." I roll my eyes and try to conceal my guilt for having said that.

Lapis: "Hmm" She looks around my room.

"Who was you're first boyfriend.?"

Peridot: "I-I'm not sure if I like only guys or if I like girls or hell if I like both!!!" I scream.

Lapis: She's astonished and saddened.
"S-sorry.." She looks away and rubs her arm.

A surge of guilt runs though Peridot.

Peridot: "Hey..I'm sorry..I'm just not used to talking to people about how I feel...I normally rant about it on my blog..."

Lapis: "Oh..sorry...I assume things way to easily.."

Peridot: "It's alright...uh it's my turn now..? Lapis, Truth or Dare?"

Lapis: "Dare." She smirks and bites her lip.

Peridot: Is she expecting something..? "Uh okay..! I dare you to..umm...I dare you to watch my favorite show with me! Camp Pining Hearts!"

Lapis: "I heard about that show, it's like a cheesy Canadian love story right?"

Peridot: Tries holding in the fury and rage that builds up inside her after Lapis' question. "No actually it's a lot more than that!"

Lapis: Okay she's starting to rant. She's kinda cute when she's just talking...SNAP OUTTA IT LAPIS! You've only known her for a day!

•2 hours later•

Peridot: "And those were the reason why that is the best show in existence."

Lapis: "Hm..that seems kinda cool, I might watch it sometime."

Lapis receives a text from her mom.

LM (Lapis' Mom): Hey, don't come home tonight.
