Ch.8 (Pt.1)

Amanda's Pov: 

"Wow. This mall is huge." I said. This mall was big, and I mean BIG.

"Yeah. It's pretty big." Aleks says. "So. Which store do you wanna go first?" he asked.

"Is there a Hot Topic?" I asked.

He nods and grabs my hand. I blush a little and walked next to him. He takes me to Hot Topic which was on the first floor. We walk in and the music blasted our ears.

"Hi. Welcome to Hot Topic." a lady said. She had bright red hair and brown eyes with a few tattoos on her arms. She was wearing a black blouse with black dress pants, and she was wearing some black and grey Vans. "If y'all need anything let me know. My name is Cathy." she says.

We smile and nod. I walk towards the back with Aleks and I looked through some shirts. I picked out a Walking Dead shirt and a Minecraft shirt. I went to the bracelets and got a few of them. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turned around and see...Max?

"Max? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I could say the same to you." he says.

"Um...I'm here with Aleks. He's showing me around." I said nervously.

"Oh really? Well since I'm here. Are you still going to my party tonight?" he asked.

"No. I'm sorry Max, but I promised Aleks to hang out with him." I apologized.

"Oh ok. Well I'll see you at school then." he says leaving the store.

"Amanda?" I turn around and see Aleks.

"Hey." I said.

"Who were you talking to?" he asked.

"Oh um...Max." I said. I look at him and his face was red. Uh oh. "He asked me if I was going to his party tonight, but I said no and that I was going to hang out with you." I finished.

He calms down and nods. "Sorry." he apologized.

"It's ok Aleks. Come on let's go pay for this." I said and he nods. We went to the cashier and she ringed up my items.

"Do you have a Hot Topic Card?" the cashier asked. I nod and took out my wallet and pulled out my card and gave it to her. She takes it and swipes it and gives it back to me. "That'll be $35.50." she said.

I took out the exact change and gave it to her. She puts my stuff in the bag with the receipt. "Y'all have a great day."

"Thanks. You too." I said and we left the store. Once we got out of the store. Aleks's phone started ringing. He takes it out of his pocket and sees who it is. He grones and answers the phone.

"What do you want Tiffany?" he says sounding a bit upset. "No I'm not. I'm just showing her around the town Tiffany. No I'm not going! Just stop Tiffany!" he started yelling. "How about you go hang out with the guy you cheated on me?!" he yells louder and we were getting stares. "James told me! Him and Kevin saw you and a guy making out! We are done Tiffany! Goodbye!" he yells to her and then hangs up.

"Aleks?" I said putting my hand on his shoulder. He takes my hand off his shoulder and drags me to the food court. "Ow. That hurt Aleks." I said rubbing wrist.

"I'm-I'm sorry." he aologized. "I just...I just wanted it to be over." he says hugging me tight.

"Hey it's ok." I said hugging him back. "How about this? We get something to eat and we can either go to your house or mine. Or maybe the park." I said.

"Okay. We can go to the park." he says getting up. I get up and follow him outside the mall and to his car. He opens the car and we both get in. He drives to a pizza place and gets out to go order while I wait in the car. He comes back a few minutes later and hands me two take out boxes. "I got pepperoni. If that's ok?" he says.
