Ch.24

{A/N: I'm skipping the whole week, because she's pretty much sleeping, eating, and doing work}

Amanda's Pov:

Today I was going back to school and I was kind of scared. I didn't know what Tiffany will do to me, but I didn't let it bother me. "Amanda! Kevin is here!" my mom shouts from downstairs. I grabbed my phone with my keys and my backpack, and headed downstairs. I went to the kitchen and see Kevin sitting down at the table.

"Hey Kevin." I said and he looks up and smiles. "Ready to go?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Let's go." he says getting up from the table and heads to the door.

"See you later mom." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek and head to the door.

"Bye! Please be careful Amanda!" she says.

"I will! Bye!" I yelled and head out the door. I locked the door and we made our way to school. "I'm kind of scared Kevin." I said to him and he hugs me.

"Don't worry Amanda. Everything will be fine." he says and I nod. We made it to school and we saw the guys in the front.

"Amanda!" Monica yells and attacks me with a hug.

"Hey Monica." I said and hugged her back.

She finally lets me go. "How are you feeling?" she asked me.

"A lot better, but still tired." I said to her and she nods. We were talking for a few minutes until the bell rings and we head to class. "I'll see you later Kevin." I said to him and he nods. I walk into class and sat down at my desk.

"Welcome back Amanda." Mr.Vasquez says. I smile and nod. "I hope everything is okay?" he asked me.

"Yeah. Everything is fine." I said and he nods. Once the bell rings, we get started on our assignment. Then the door suddenly bursted open, but I didn't pay much attention and continued doing my work.

"Aleksandr! You are late!" Mr.Vasquez says to him. "You're getting detention."

"Yes sir." Aleks says to him.

"Now go take a seat." He says to him. I hear Aleks sit down, but I didn't bother looking up.

~Skip To Gym~

"Welcome back Amanda." Coach said.

"Thanks Coach." I said and went to my locker, so that I can get dressed. Once I got dressed, I made my way to the gym and met up with the guys. "Hey guys."

"Hey." They said together. We hear coach blow the whistle, and we all look at her. "Alright! We are going to play basketball!" Coach said and we all nod. "Amanda. I want you to sit out." She says and I gave her a confused look. "Since you came back from the hospital. I'm having you sit out for the rest of the week." She explains. "So I don't want you to get hurt." She says and I nod, and sat back down on the bleachers.

"Sorry we're late coach!" We all turn around and we see Tiffany and Aleks. "Aleks was helping me getting my project to class." She said with a smirk on her face. I roll my eyes and took my phone out of my pocket, and started going through my apps. "So? How was the hospital?" Tiffany asked, but I just ignore her. She then knocks my phone out of my hand, and then smashes it with her heels.

"What the fuck Tiffany?!" I yelled at her and she just laughs. She was about to leave, but I grabbed her arm. "You're going to pay for my phone!"

She just keeps laughing. "I'm not paying for shit!" she says and then slaps me across my face, and I let her go.

"Ms.Kudrikow!" coach yelled at her. "To the principles office! Now!" she says and Tiffany leaves, and she takes Aleks's hand, but he lets go.

"Aleks let's go!" she yelled at him and he shook his head. "What do you mean no?!" she asked him.

"I'm done doing you're dirty work Tiffany!" he yells at her. "Maybe I should tell everyone the truth!"

"You wouldn't dare!" she says and he smiles. "Fine! Go ahead and tell them! They won't believe you anyways!"

"No? But I will." I said standing behind him with my arms crossed. "Even though I'm still mad at Aleks, but I'll believe him." Mr.Williams class came in the gym and they sat down on the bleachers. I started picking up the pieces of my phone from the floor. "My mom is going to be pissed." I said to myself.

"Amanda?" I look up and see Kevin. "Are you okay?" he asked and I nod.

"Hey Kevin?" he turns around and looks at me. "Can I borrow your phone?" I asked him and he nods. He takes out his phone and gives it to me. "Thanks." I dialed my moms number and she picked up right away.

"Hello?" she says.

"Hey mom it's me." I said. "I'm using Kevin's phone, because mine broke."

"What? How did you break it?" she asked.

"Well, I was sitting on the bleachers and then Tiffany just grabs my phone and throws it on the floor, and she smashed it with her heels." I started. "Then she slapped me in my face."

"What?!" she screamed. "I'm going over there. Just give me a few minutes." she says and then hangs up. I gave Kevin back his phone and he puts it back in his pocket.

"What happened Amanda?" he asked me. "Did you get in trouble?"

"No, but my mom is coming in a few minutes." I said and he nods. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Aleks. "Oh. Hey Aleks." I said softly.

"Hey." he says. "Look. I'm really sorry for what Tiffany did to your phone."

"It's fine." I said. "I just have to get a new one this weekend."

"Will Amanda Gonzales and Tiffany Kudrikow come to the principles office? Thank you." the lady on the intercom said.

"Well. I better get dressed and head over there." I said and head to the locker room. I got dressed and grabbed my stuff, and made my way to the principles office. "You wanted to see me?" I asked her and I see Tiffany sitting down.

"Yes. Come in Amanda." Ms.Martinez says. "Please. Have a seat." she said pointing to the chair and I nod, and I sit down next to Tiffany. "Now Amanda. Can you explain to me what happened?" she asked me.

~One Conversation Later~

"You are suspended Ms.Kudrikow, for a month." principle Martinez said and Tiffany just got up and stormed out of the room. Then there was a knock at the door and I got up to go answer it.

"Aleks? What are you doing here?" I asked and he moved aside, and I see my mom behind him. "Mom?" I let her in and Aleks as well. "Um...Ms.Martinez? This is my mom." they both shake hands and my mom sat down. "Aleks sit down." I told him but he shook his head. "Aleks just sit down please. I'm fine." he sighs and sits down.

~1 Hour Later~

"Well then. I guess that's it." Ms.Martinez said. "You're suspended for a week Aleksandr, and thank you for telling the truth about Max and his friends." she thanked him and he nods.

"Why didn't you say anything about this Amanda?" my mom asked.

"I didn't want you to get worried." I said to her. "I know you're mad at me, but I can take care of myself." I said and then leaving the room. My mom was calling my name, but I ignored her. Then I felt someone grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Aleks please stop. I don't want to talk about this right now." I said to him.

"But I do." he says. "Look. I want to start over and maybe get back together."

"I don't know Aleks. I mean I don't mind starting over, but I don't know about getting back together." I said to him. "We can be friends for now." he lets me go and I head to class.
