Ch.8 (Pt.2)

Aleks's Pov: 

I took Amanda to her room and sat her down on her bed. "Does it hurt really bad?" I asked.

"No not really. It just stings really bad." she said.

"Amanda? Are you home already?" her mom asked. She gasped and saw her elbow. "Amanda what happened to you?" her mom said grabbing her elbow.

"Ow mom! That hurts." she yells.

"Sorry. Hold on. I'll be right back." her mom says leaving the room.

"This is all my fault." I said feeling guilty.

"Don't say that Aleks. It's not your fault." she says patting my back.

"Ok. Let me see." her mom said. Amanda holds up her elbow and her mom put some disinfected on it Amanda starts screaming.

"Fuck! God damnit!" she screams. I sit beside her and rub small circles on her back.

"Amanda! Stop cusing!" her mom yells at her.

"Sorry, but it really stings." she says. Her mom then cleans it off and put some bandages on her. "Thanks mom." she says thanking her mom.

"Now. Can you tell me what happened?" her mom asked. She was about to say something but I stand up and cut her off.

"It was my fault Ms.Gonzales." I said. Amanda shook her head no but I kept going. "I was showing your daughter around the town and we went to the park, but when we were leaving my ex-girlfriend showed up and she was upset. I had broken up with her a few hours ago, because she had cheated on me, and she saw me with your daughter and she was yelling at her and that's when she pushed her to the floor. I helped her up and I brought her home. I'm really sorry Ms.Gonzales. I really am." I finished saying taking a deep breathe.

"Mom please don't be upset with him! He was helping me!" Amanda begged her mom.

"Thank you Aleks." her mom says. I look up and her mom was smiling. "I've never met a boy like you that cared so much for my daughter." she says walking towards me and giving me a hug. I was surprised and her mom stopped hugging me.

"Thank you Ms.Gonzales." I say thanking her.

"Call me Sandra." she smiles. I smile and nod. "Well it's getting late. I'm going to go lay down. Goodnight." her mom said.

"Goodnight." me and Amanda said together. Amanda gets up from her bed and closes it. She lays back down on her bed.

"I'm so tired." she says. I laugh and she sits back up. "What's so funny?" she asked.

I put my hands in defense. "Nothing. If you're tired then go to sleep." I said.

"But that means you have to leave." she says pouting.

I smile and sat next her. "I don't have to leave if you don't want me to." I said to her.

"I'll be right back." she says getting up and leaving her room. I just sit there and wait for to come back. I feel my phone vibrate and I see who it is.

'Hey :) Where are you?' -Sly

I laugh and text him back.

'I'm at Amanda's house. I took her around the town, but I had to bring her home :(' -Me

'What? Why?' -Sly

'Call me. And I'll tell you everything, so I don't have to text you.' -Me

'Ok :D' -Sly 

Sure enough Sly calls me and I answer it. "Hey." I said.

"So. Tell me what happened?" he said. I hear the door open and I see Amanda smiling and has some food on a tray.
