New Girl

Ch.27

It's been a month since Max and his friends captured me and Aleks. They keep telling us that our parents are looking for us, and the guys as well. Me and Aleks were laying down on the cold hard concreate floor, and we were holding each other close. "A-A-Aleks." I stuttered. "I-I'm c-cold." I said to him and he hugs me tight.

"It's okay Amanda." he says. "I got you." I smile and hug him. Me and Aleks were by ourselves down in the basement, while the rest of the guys were at school. Soon my stomach started rumbling and I sat up from the floor. "I-I'm hungry A-Aleks." I stuttered.

"Well, we can try and sneak something back down here." he says. "But we have to be really quick, because we don't know when their going to be back." I nod and we both got up from the floor and head upstairs. I was holding onto Aleks's arm and we went into the kitchen. "Okay. Let's see what they got, and then we can head back downstairs." he says and I nod, but I had something else in mind.

"A-Aleks?" I said and he looks at me. "I-I think w-we should es-escape." I stuttered and his eyes widen. He turns around and looks at the clock on the stove. "I-I know they w-will look for u-us, but-" I stopped, and took a deep breath. "But we have to try!" I whispered yelled and I started crying. I feel Aleks hug me and I hug back.

"Shh. It's okay Amanda. I was thinking the same way, but I was to scared to even try." he admits. He lets me go, and looks at me. "We can escape right now, and we can go to the police." he says, and I smile and nod.

"Do you think we should call our parents first or the police?" I asked him.

"Let's call the police first, and then we can call our parents." he said and I nod.

We head towards the phone in the living room and I picked it up. My body started shaking, but I knew I had to do it. I took a deep breath and dialed 911. "Hello. 911. What is your emergancy?" the lady on the line said.

"Y-Yes, um, I would like report that me and my friend have been kidnapped." I said softly.

"Ok ma'am, and what are y'alls names?" she asked.

"A-Amanda G-Gonzales and A-Aleksandr M-Marchant." I stuttered.

"Wait? Are y'all the two that have been missing for a month?" she asked and I nod, even though she couldn't see it.

"Y-Yes ma'am." I said. "A-And we know who d-did it."

"Officer Cardona!" the lady shouts, and then I hear running. "What is it?" he said.

"We found your son's friends." she told him. "And they know who took them." I look at Aleks and he's by the front door to keep watch. "Okay sweetie. Can you tell me the person who did this?" she asked.

"U-Um. Max Gonzalez and a few of his friends." I explained to her. "He goes to our school and he has us locked up in his ba-" I get cut off by Aleks.

"Amanda! We've got a problem." he says and I look at him. "He's here, and we have to go back downstairs." My eyes widen and I started to panic.

"He's here. I have to go, but please call our parents to tell them that we're safe." I said to her and hung up the phone. "Okay. Come on." I said and he grabs my arm, and we head back downstairs. We both lay back down in the position that we were in before. "I'm scared Aleks."

"Shh. Don't worry Amanda. They'll come for sure, so we just have to wait." he says and I nod.

~Next Morning~

We woke up to the door bursting open, and then people yelling. "Everybody freeze! This is the police!" Me and Aleks sat up from the floor and we move back a bit, and our backs are against the wall. "What the fuck is going on here?!" we hear Max yell. Then we hear someone getting attacked, and then it goes quiet.

I started shaking and Aleks holds me close to him. "I'm scared Aleks." I cried.

"It's okay Amanda." he says and hugs me tight. "I won't let nothing happen to you."

We then hear the basement door open, and then footsteps coming down the stairs. "Amanda? Aleks?" someone said. "Come on out, we won't hurt you. We've come to take you home." they said. I look at Aleks and he nods. I smile and we both stand up from the cold hard floor, and we walked out. "I need a medical team please." the officer said. "Come on guys. Let's take you home." he says and we both nod.

~A Few Hours Later~

"Amanda!" my mom yells and she ran towards me. We both ran into each other arms and we started crying. "I'm so happy that you're safe." she says and I smile. We stay like this for about a few minutes, until it was time for us to go inside. "Come on. Let's get inside and get some rest." I nod and we both head inside.

"Manda!" my brother shouts and attacks me with a hug. "I've missed you." I laugh.

"I've missed you too bro." I said to him and he lets me go. "Can we have something to eat?" I asked and they nod.

"We've already made some Wings and Hamburgers." my mom said and I smile.

"Awesome." I said. I grabbed a plate and put some Wings on my plate, and I put ranch over my Wings. "Oh my god. I've missed eating these so much." I said and I started eating.

"Amanda. We have something to tell you." my mom says, but I keep eating.

"What is it?" I asked with my mouth full. "It's not bad is it?"

"No." she says and I nod.

"Okay, so what is it?" I asked her again and I looked at her.

"We're moving back to Texas." she says, and I froze into place.
