Ch.26 (Pt.1)

Amanda's Pov:

"O-Oh. Hi Tiffany." I said nervously and she smirks. "Well, I gotta go. See ya." I said and head out the door, and then back in the gym. I go and sit back down at the table, and see that Kevin and Aleks are the only ones there. "Hey." they both look up and smile. "Where is everybody?" I asked them and they both pointed to the dance floor.

"They all went to go dance, but we stayed behind." Kevin says.

"Yeah, because we were waiting for you." Aleks said.

"Oh okay." I said and sat down. "Y'all can dance, and I'll just stay here."

"But we wanted you to dance with us." Aleks says. "You and Kevin can dance first, and then me and you." he says.

"I don't know. I really don't like dancing, but I can try." I admit and they both nod. Kevin gets up and holds his hand out. I got up from my seat and took his hand, and we made our to the dance floor. "I'm kind of scared Kevin." I said to him.

He chuckles. "Don't worry. Just follow my lead." he says and I nod. "Ready?" he asked and I nod. He teaches me a few steps and we started dancing. Me and Kevin danced two songs, and then a slow dance started playing. "Come on. Let's get back." he says and I nod. We head back to our table and we see that Aleks was still by himself.

"Did y'all have fun?" Aleks asked and we both nod. "Cool. Amanda?" he says.

"Yes Aleks." I said.

"May I have this dance?" he asked, and holds out his hand.

I smile and nod. "Of course." I said and he smiles. I grab his hand and we head to the dance floor again. We intertwined one of our hands together, and he puts his other hand on my waist, and I put my hand around his neck. "Are y'all happy that I came to the prom?" I asked he and he nods, and we started dacing.

"Of course, and I was also scared that I wouldn't be forgiving for what I have done to y'all." he says.

"You are forgiving, and I want to thank you for telling on Max and Tiffany." I thanked him.

He smiles and nods. "I did it for you, because you still mean a lot to me, and I'm sorry for what I've done to you." he says and I start to blush. "I still love you Amanda."

When he says that, I started to cry. "I'm-I'm sorry Aleks, but I just can't." I said to him and he sighs.

"I know. I'm sorry, but I still do." he says and hugs me. "I know you and Kevin are together so I'll just-" I cut him off.

"Whoa! Me and Kevin aren't together, but he did show his feeling for me." I explained to him. "It was the day that you went back to Tiffany, and he told me his feelings." I explained to him.

"Oh." he says and then he twirls me in a circle. "Well, I guess I'm never going to get you back." he said and the song finshed. Another slow song started playing. "Would you like to dance again?" he asked and I nod.

"I don't think so." we both turn around and we see Tiffany standing there. "Hello Aleks."

Aleks's' Pov:

"What do you want Tiffany?" I asked her and she just smirks. "Why can't you just leave us alone?" I said.

"Oh Aleks. I'm just here to show you something." she says.

"What do you mean?" I asked her and she laughs. We then see her take out her phone from her purse, and then showing us a photo of Kevin and- "Minx?"

"Aleks?" I turn around and see a worried face on Amanda's face. "What's going on?" she asked.

"It's about your little boyfriend Kevin." Tiffany smiles.

"Okay. For the last time, he is not my boyfriend." she says crossing her arms. "And about Kevin?" she asked her. Tiffany shows her phone to Amanda and she begins to cry. "I-I thought he-" she stops and storms out of the gym.

"Amanda!" I shout and I ran after her. I burst through the doors, but Amanda wasn't outside. I take out my phone and tried calling her. "Come on Amanda. Please pick up." I said to myself, hoping she would answer her phone.

"H-Hello?" she cries.

"Amanda? Where are you?" I asked her.

"Ju-Just leave me alone Aleks. I don't want to be bothered right now." she says and then I hear water running in the background. "Shit." she whispers.

"I'm coming to get you, and I don't care if you don't want me to or not." I said to her and I hung up my phone and put it back in my pocket. I started heading towards the girls restroom and then I wait by the door. "Come on Amanda." I said to myself.

"Aleks?" I turn around and see Liz. "What are you doing standing here?" she asked.

"Amanda ran off crying, and she's in there." I explained to her. "Do you think you can get her out here?" I asked her.

"Sure. I'll be right back." she says and I nod. She goes inside the restroom, and I just wait. It's been 10 minutes, and Liz finally brought Amanda out of the bathroom. "It'll be okay Amanda." Liz says to her. "Just talk to him about, and I'm sure he'll explain."

She sighs. "Let's just go back, and not talk about okay." she says and we nod. Liz goes ahead of us, and we walked behind her. "Aleks? Do you think you can take me home?" Amanda asked.

"Yeah." I said. "Do you want to go now or later?" I asked her.

"I have to get my purse first from the table, and then we can go." I nod and we head back to the gym. We go to our table that we were sitting at, and she grabbed her purse. "I'm gunna go guys. I had fun." Everybody gives her a hug and said their goodbyes, but Kevin was confused. "I'll see y'all guys later. "Come on Aleks. You can take me home now." she said to me and I nod.

"Bye Aleks! Bye Amanda!" Monica yells. We both said goodbye and we head out. "Aleks?"

"Hm. What is it?" I asked her and then I hear her cry. "Please don't cry Amanda." I told her.

"I-I'm sorry but, d-do you think you can st-stay with me tonight?" she stutters.

"Of course." I said and she stops crying. I take her hand and I intertwine it with mine. "Come on. Let's go and get some rest." she smiles and nods.

"Thank you Aleks." she thanked me.

"No problem." I said and we walked to her house.
