Ch.35

A/N: I'm skipping ahead a few months.

"Alright Ms.Gonzales." Our doctor said. "Let's see if you're having a girl or a boy." she said and we nod. She gives me an Ultrasound, and we wait to see what we are having. After a few minutes, she stops the Ultrasound and looks at us. "It's a boy." she says with a smile. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." I thanked her. "Do I need anything else before we leave?" I asked her.

"Let me just run a couple more tests, and y'all are free to go." she says and we nod.

|Time Skip|

"I hate needles." I said while scratching my arm.

"Babe, don't scratch." Aleks tells me, moving my arm away. "We're almost home, so you can get plenty of rest." he says and I nod. We finally got home, and Aleks pulls into the drive way. He turns off the engine, and we both get out. "Let's go tell them the news." he said.

"What news?" I look up and see my mom.

"I'm having a boy." I said to her and her jaw dropped to the floor. "But this doesn't mean you can spoil him with sweets." I tell her and she nods.

"Oh, and I have some bad news." she said.

"What is it?" I asked her and Aleks holds my hand.

"Max was released from jail, and he's going back to school next week." she says and my jaw dropped to the floor. "But, if he does anything to you or your friends." she starts. "He's going back to jail." she finished and I nod.

"Okay. Well, I'm heading inside and getting some rest." I said and she nods. Aleks opens the door for me, and I head inside. I go up the stairs and head into my room. I take off my shoes and lay down on my bed.

"Amanda?" I turn around and see Aleks by the doorway.

"Hey Aleks." I said. "Is something wrong?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"No." he says coming in my room, and sitting on the edge of my bed. He touches my stomach, and I see a small smile on his face. "He's kicking." he laughs.

"Is he now?" I asked and he nods. "Do we want to name him now, or should we wait?" I asked him.

"It's up to you babe." he said. "Or we can ask the guys to come up with one."

"Okay. We can ask them." I said and he nods. "I'm going to take a nap, so if you want to leave, that's fine." I told him.

"I'm going to stay for a little longer, and then I'll head home." he says.

"Okay. Goodnight Aleks." I said. He leans towards me and gives me a quick kiss on my lips.

"Goodnight babe." he says and I drifted off to sleep.

~Time Skip(1 Week)~

"Aleks. I'm fine." I tell him, but he doesn't listen. He helps me out of the car, and then closes it. He holds my backpack, and helps me inside. "Aleks." I laugh. We both head into the principle's office, and got our excuses.

"I hope everything goes well, and congratulations to the both of you." Ms.Martinez said.

"Thank you." I thanked her and she hugs me.

"I'll let Coach know, and you're excused from Gym." she says and I nod. "Alright. Go ahead and head to class." she said and we nod. Aleks intertwined our hands together, and we made our way to Gym.

"Aleks?" I said and he looks at me.

"What is it babe?" he asked me.

"What will happened if Max tries to hurt us?" I asked him and we stop by the library.

"He will never hurt us." he says and I started to cry. "Please don't cry babe. I promise I will protect you, and our son." he said and he hugs me.

"I don't want you to get hurt." I cried. He lets me go and lifts my chin up. He then leans towards me, and kisses me on my lips. I kiss him back, and we stay like that for a few minutes, until we heard laughing behind us. We both pull back, and looked back. No.

"Look at the two love birds." Max laughed. Aleks stands in front of me, and I see Tiffany behind Max. Max looks at my stomach, and his jaw dropped to the floor. "Your pregnant?" he asked, but I kept quiet.

"Leave us alone Max." Aleks tells him. I take out my phone and texted Kevin, and to come as fast as he can.

"Why should I listen to you?" he asked. They get closer to us, and we backed off a bit. "We should just get rid of y'all, and-" he gets cut off.

"That's enough Max." I look over and see- "I suggest you leave, or I'll call the cops." Kevin warns him.

"Kevin." I said softly. He comes towards us, and he stands next to Aleks.

"Protecting your girlfriend? How sweet." Tiffany laughed.

"She's not my girlfriend." he tell her.

"She's my fiance." Aleks said and her jaw dropped to the floor. She then storms off, and Max follows behind her.

"Thank you Kevin." I thanked him.

"No problem." he says. "Let's head to Gym." he said and we nod.

-After School-

"Have you picked out a name yet?" Monica asked.

"No. Not yet." I said and she nods.

"It's time to go babe." Aleks said and I nod.

"Bye guys." I said and waved at them. "I'll see y'all tomorrow."

"Bye!" They said together, and I got in the car. Aleks drives off, and we head home. Once we got to my house, I see my parents standing outside by the door. Aleks parks in the drive way, and he turns off the engine. We both unbuckle our seatbelts, and got out of the car.

"Hey mom. Hey dad." I said and they turned around. "Is something wrong?" I asked them, and they opened the door. The entire house was dark, so Aleks grabs my hand and we walk inside. "Why is it so dark in here?" I said and the lights turn on.

"Surprise!" I look up and see-

"Lori? Nico?" I said and they nod. I run towards them and gave them a hug, and they hug me back. "When did y'all get here?" I asked them.

"Yesterday." Lori said. "Oh, and you must be Aleks." she tells me and I let them go, and I go stand by him.

"Yes." he said and I giggle.

"This is my sister Lori, and her husband Nico." I tell him and he nods.

"Nice to met you both." he says and they nod.

"Mom had called me, and she told me the news." she smiled. "I'm surprised, but I'm happy for you." she said and I smile.

"Thanks sis." I thanked her.

"Now. Let me make dinner, and we can start planning the baby shower." she said and we nod.
