[A quick note on the sequel. If you've read the epilogue, you will know that I have briefly introduced a new character, Leo. Well, that wasn't random! I am actually planning on writing the sequel to this story, or more like a spinoff, which will centre around Leo and another girl. It will of course be after the events of this story, but not too long after. Just enough so that his wounds from Adri's death are still fresh but not bleeding, if that makes any sense. However, keep in mind that this won't be until probably July this year, if not later. This is because I have my IB exams in may, and straight after that I'm going to be away with my family (where I probably will get started with writing), so the actual publication of the story won't be till July or later. Well. FINALLY.
Honestly I have wanted to finish this story for so damn long but I've never found the time and if not that then the motivation. I don't even remember when I started, like three years ago? And then I only began publishing it like much later. Either way it has been one hell of a journey getting here.
Now I know that this story is pretty crap I mean I barely had any experience with writing when I started and now I only have 20 more chapters of experience so not much haha. Either way, I still feel so proud that I've actually managed write a piece of work, a story, and call it mine. There is A LOT of fixing that needs to be done, and SO much editing (I don't even want to know the number of inconsistencies and plot holes), and I'll get around to all that some other time. Probably this summer, after this lovely thing we call exams and definitely not before.
Anyway the point is that I'm proud that I can call this wonderful mess of a story mine and I am so thankful to everyone who bothered to read, vote and comment. I'm especially thankful to the people still reading this note here (I LOVE YOU).
Now one last thing: YO mendls IT'S ABOUT TIME I FULFIL MY PROMISE.
Throughout this long ass ride of me writing this story, there have been so many times where I've just wanted to say fuck it and never return to it. There were times I absolutely hated this book and times I loved it, but with school and just life in general getting in the way, there were far more moments of hatred for this. Throughout all those times my best friend mendls kept me going, encouraging me to write and not give up and just finish it. She had finished her story and she knew exactly how it felt (btw check out her stories they're beautiful) and I am just so glad that she pushed me to write and keep working on this story. When I first started writing this I had promised her that I would dedicate the book if I finished it. And guess what? Finally, finally, I've managed to finish this story. I'm dedicating this story to my best friend, mendls, for being my biggest supporter in more ways than just my writing. Thank you.
