It was a free day for Me and Ate Tara so she invited me to go buy a dress for Victoria's birthday. Tara asked Toby if there's a dress code. Buti nalang at sinabi ni Toby na anything black. Hindi na daw ball yung theme para sa debut. Basta something black daw ang suotin. I have a lot of black clothes but I do think it's not really appropriate for the party. Tonight's the party and we have to immediately find appropriate clothes.

"Halika na, Tanya! You have to try this." She said while holding a dress that's black.

"No, Thanks Ate Tara. Maghahanap ako ng iba." I said.

The dress she wanted was bodycon and was to revealing. Ayaw ko naman magsuot ng ganon. Sa totoo, sabit lang naman kami ni Tara because we're Toby... friends? I looked through the clothing rack and I saw a black jumpsuit. I got it and checked it. Gusto ko ito! I really don't like dresses...

"Tara, is this okay?" I asked her while showing the jumpsuit.

"A jumpsuit?!" She said in an exaggerating way.

"What's wrong? Maganda naman ah!" I said looking at it again.

"May mga babaeng tama ang damit na yan para sa kanila. Hindi iyan babagay sa'yo!" Komento niya. Since, she's older than me, I do think she has a point but, I am still trying it on.

I didn't mind her and I just gave her a foolish grin. I checked the size and to my surprise, it was my size! I went in to the fitting room and tried it. I struggled at first but eventually, I got comfortable with it. I went outside the fitting room with my bare feet and asked my sister, who is a pro in dressing up for parties if it looks okay, she was holding two or three hangers of dresses.

"Is it good? Maganda naman ah?" I said scanning myself through the mirror.

"Oh my god, you look great! I can't believe you effortlessly looked beautiful." Puri niya pa.

"Enough with the compliments... I'm getting this!" I laughed.

I undressed myself again wore my clothes. It was Ate's turn to try on the dress she picked.

"To fit, Ate! Get the halter black dress." Komento ko.

She was already holding a pair of black strap heels. She told me to look for one and I did. It actually perfectly matches my jumpsuit. After paying for the things we bought, we ate in a small Japanese restaurant.

"Victoria's wearing a Red Long Gown, I see." She said scrolling through something on her phone.

I bit the tempura I was eating and became curious.

"Red Long Gown?" I said again.

"Yup! It's all over facebook because she had her fitting today." Sagot ni Ate Tara. I sometimes laugh about Ate Tara being so updated with everything about showbiz. Maybe we should switch lives so that I could write more articles.

"She'd look nice. Siya lang ang naka red sa party niya." Sabi naman ni Ate.

"Hindi naman na kasi ball 'iyong theme na kailangan lahat tayo naka ball gown." I commented.

"Ball gown over cocktail dresses, Tans! Ang ganda kaya nun. It would be nice to look like a princess for atleast a night."

For the two of us, hindi kasi namin na experience mag ball gown dahil wala naman kaming debut and when we were highschool, cocktail dress lang isinuot namin sa prom.

"I don't know, Ate. It looks heavy walking in a ball gown." I laughed.

At dahil artista naman si Victoria, she's used to it. All the glitz and glam. The long ball gown, high heels, makeup, and the camera that would be flashing when she walks.
