"And it's hard to forget someone you know you'll always remember."
Next Morning >>>
I opened my eyes and groaned. Ugh, what happened? I had a punding headache. I pushed off the covers and looked around the room. Huh? I was so confused. Is this a dream? Where am i? I blinked and looked down at my feet. I tried to remember what happened when suddenly it all came flowing back. I gasped and looked around the room. I got off the bed and ran for the door. When I tried to open it, it wouldn’t unlock. I cried out in frustration and tried the window. It didn’t budge no matter how hard I pushed. I huffed and fell down on ground and hugged my knees. What should I do now?
“Maybe there’s a phone or a weapon in here!” I whispered to myself. I began to search through all the drawers and closets, desperately searching. When I was about half way done, I heard footsteps. I looked around the room to see all the open drawers. I ran around the room and quickly shut all of them. I came up with a risky idea and hid right behind the door. When I heard a key being inserted into the lock, I took a deep breath and held it. The person gently pushed the door open and walked in. when there was enough of a gap between the edge of the door and the person I didn’t waste a moment. I ran around the door and sprinted out into the hallway.
“Hey! Come back here!” I heard him shout.
I pumped my legs faster and turned down many hallways, ran down the staircases, and got very lost. I heard his footsteps pounding after me. After I took a few more turns, I couldn’t hear him any more. I had reached a dead end however, and I needed to backtrack. I slowly walked to the door of the room I had entered and peeked out into the hallway. Empty. I slowly emerged and began to walk down the hall. I stopped and listened. Nothing. My chest was heaving from the running and how nervous I was. I had just turned a hallway when a rough arm yanked me back, picked me up, and tossed me over their shoulder. I screamed and began to twist and squirm.
“Stop squirming or I will hurt you , darling!” the man growled at me.
I hesitated and decided to stop. By the time I had calmed down, we were practically back in the old room anyways. He threw me on the bed. When I managed to get up and look at him, I was stunned. He was so handsome. And very very angry. I quickly glanced into his cold eyes and then immediately at the covers of the bed.
“Stand up,” he said slowly. I shakily got to my knees and tried to regain my courage.
“P-please, I-“I started to shutter out.
“SHUT UP!” he snarled at me. I clamped my mouth shut and turned my gaze back to the ground.
“Now, darling, because it’s your first day, you will not be punished. But if you ever run away again, you will be sorry,” he said in a quiet, low voice. He could speak in any tone and still be so terrifying
“Now there are a few rules that you must follow,” he said casually. My jaw dropped. Rules? Do I look like a dog or like a child?
“First, you may not back talk me. What I say goes. Don’t complain, and don’t object. Second, you may not hit me in any way. No biting kicking, scratching, nothing. It wouldn’t make a difference because I can and will over power you, but I don’t want you being defiant. Do not disrespect me. Don’t ignore me, roll your eyes or curse. You may not try to escape. This rule, if broken, will result in the harshest punishment of all. And one last rule,” he said, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.
His eyes glinted, and he walked towards me. I stood my ground, summing up all the courage icould muster.
“Hmm, you’re a tough one, aren’t you?” he said while smirking, lifting up his arm to stroke my cheek.
