Chapter One

A/N

Okay, so Taxi Cab is when they are like together and what not. From that book you guys know how they met and all but there were some questions I was getting about how their relationship developed after. So here you go. This will be about five chapters so don't expect much. Thanks to the people who have been reading my books.

"I know where you stand, silent in the trees, and that's- where I am. Silent in the trees." He whispered under his breath. I knew he wasn't doing okay. I knew it and I didn't want to believe it. He was going through so much and I wasn't being any help.

"I'll go then." I said as I hopped down from the tree we hung out on today.

"No!" Tyler shouted as I started to walk away. I then turned around and he pulled me into a tight hug. "Please don't leave me." He said in a muffled whine while his head was in my chest.

"I don't want to but your mom doesn't think I'm a good influence on you. I know about you and your state of mind. I know why they think I'm not a good influence. You're not crazy." I said as I held him close.

Tyler lifted his head and looked me in the eyes. "You're my best friend and I had nobody like you. You've helped me when Jay died and you helped me when Blurry was out to get me. I just need you more then ever.

{Third Person}

Tyler was a boy with problems of his own and being in high school it took a toile on him. Everything was hard and studying was worse. All he wanted to do was make music. That's all he wanted in life.

Tyler took a break from his books. He scooted the wheeled chair away from his desk and rolled all the way to his keyboard. He looked at the music in front of him and thought about his band mates and wondered 'what is Chris and Nick doing' he then went to his phone and texted them in their on going group chat.

Tyler: What are you guys up to today?

Nick: Nun much. What you up to?

Chris: ^Same^

Tyler: I was just going to ask if you guys wanted to come over and then practice for the Mock rock auditions coming up? (Talent show)

Chris: All right, I'll be there soon :)

Nick: I wont be able to... Sorry, Kim wants me to go with her to do her nails for prom. :(

Tyler read the message from nick and huffed in frustration.

Tyler: It's okay. Chris and me will just practice.

Nick: K, sorry again...

About fifteen minutes passed and Tyler was in his basement working on some lyrics with his brother Zach until they heard their mom call from the top of the stairs.

"Tyler? Chris is here!"

"Okay Ma, Just send him down!"

Zach lifted his head as Chris made his way to them. He set Tyler's notebook down and patted his back and said, "I have to go, let me know how rehearsal goes. Okay?"

"Alright, if I need your help I'll ask when you get home." They hugged and Zach headed up the stairs as Chris made his way to Tyler.

"Hey bro. I was thinking we would need another person in the band because Nick isn't taking this thing seriously." Chris then shrugged.

{Tyler}

"Oh. But I'll feel bad. I can't do that to him. He's been with us for the whole time we've been a band." I looked down at the black and white piano keys. "I don't know man. I know he isn't as enthusiastic as before but it's near the end of our junior year and his senior year. He has graduation, prom, and collage."
