Chapter Four

Tyler and I have gotten closer and Nick left Twenty One Pilots. Tyler was devastated. I was just plane pissed off. I had to be there for Tyler for his audition otherwise he wouldn't make it to Mock Rock. He still signed us up and I was there.

It was two weeks later and the audition was here and we were ready.

"Twenty One Pilots!" a woman called. Our things were already set up and ready to go so we could just get the audition over with. We also looked over the three women and a guy.

"Hi, I'm Tyler and this is my main man Josh and we're Twenty One Pilots playing a song called Ruby."

As Tyler got behind his piano he and I put on ski masks and I started to drum and he hit the keys on his piano. I also had beat going.

"Ruby I hope I see you,

The woman held up her hand as we stopped, as Tyler was calming down from letting his adrenaline get the best of him. She had some tears in her eyes and I knew why. The song was for me and only for me. I was Ruby and I knew it. It wasn't a girl's name. It was I. I saw Tyler was a little disappointed. He then got to the microphone and said "Sorry if we're bad."
