It's December the 2nd,the day I leave this hell hole,me and joe are going to move to London. So I can get,a well needed fresh start. Charlie has attempted to contact me hundreds of times,I kinda feel bad that I ignore his messages,but I just can't face for him to see me right now.
The doctors are doing some last few tests on me,to make sure that I can go home. I pack my things, Joe should be here soon.
"Hello,I'm here to get my niece." Joe's happy voice says.
"Follow me." A strange voice says,I can work out it's one of the doctors.
Joe gets to me and smiles at me,one of his smiles when he's done something he knows I won't like.
"I hope you don't mind." Joe says, "But someone is having very bad problems at home so they will be living with me and you for a while."
"WHAT?", I look at him in disbelief.
"Your see."
Joe has to sign a few papers before I go,I walk off without him. I walk to the car.
I can feel Joes footsteps behind me.
I look into the car,it's Charlie.
"What the fuck."
Joe looks at me.
"Joe."
Joe looks at me again.
"Are you actually joking me I can't live with him,he's the reason I had to come here in the first place." I look at the hospital.
Charlie's P.O.V
I can here Mia's muffled voice shout at Joe. I don't think she wants me here,but I've got know where else to go.
My dad started abusing my mum so I stuck up for her,he then started doing the same to me. My parents divorced,leaving me,my sister and my mum. I stopped eating because I was scared and upset,I got sent to hospital,that's why I didn't contact Mia. I lost all my friends,my mum kicked me. I have no one. But Mia doesn't know that.
Mia gets in the seat next to me,slamming the car door when she sits down. I know I've hurt her a lot,but I want to change.
I turn to look at her,she looks at me.
"Sorry." I whisper.
"It's okay." She whispers back.
I know it's not okay.
No one talks all the way to London,not a word. Mia and me just spend time on our phones,joe stopping to get food a few times.
Mia's P.O.V
Charlie looks different,his browny blonde hair covers his forehead,his eyes standing out. He keeps playing with his hair,scraping it back. I think he notices me looking at him,but he continues to touch his hair,is he trying to kill me?
I really like him still,but it's hard. I'm not included in his life anymore. I need to move on.
We get to this new house in London,it's very big. I go and decorate my room,a few minutes later Charlie walks into my room,it's on the top floor,so I can have time to myself.
"What do you want." I turn to him.
"A second chance."
"Well have fun with that."
"Please Mia."
"Only if..."
"Only if what?" He looks at me.
"You tell me why your actually here. I don't want none of your bullshit,I just want the truth."
He hesitates,unsure what to say.
"My mum kicked me out."
He says no more
"What about your dad?"
"They broke up."
"What? Why."
"I can't tell you."
"Please Charlie,please."
"I SAID I CAN'T TELL YOU."
"Fine,get out then."
Instead of getting out he walks over to my bed,where I am.
"Look Mia." He says,staring into my eyes. "My life's hard," he continues. "I mean it's not as hard as yours."
"Tell me." I look up at him.
"I...I couldn't talk to you because my dad abused my mum. I stuck up for her and my dad done the same to me. My dad left a few days later. I was stressed and depressed,so I stopped eating,first I just missed meals then I stopped altogether. I had to get rushed to hospital, the first day that I saw you I got sent home. But my mum kicked me out,so I never went home."

I don't know what to say,instead I do something which I know I will regret.
"I love you." I say,leaning closer to him,are lips touch. It's just me and him,like how it use to be. For a moment I realise that I can be happy.
