Mia's P.O.V
I don't know what's going on. Joe's video went live last night,ever since that he hasn't said anything to me, he's just been in his room. I look around, Charlie is on his laptop, I sneak out my room and go to Joe's room. He's sat their, with tear stained eyes. I walk over to him.
"Your be okay." I say, trying to sound confident, but what he said shocked me.
"It won't be. It's not just the video I put you Mia. I'm falling for a fan. I didn't even realise it was possible."
I stay silent.
"See I knew you wouldn't understand." He mutters.
"I do understand Joe, who is it?"
Joe hands me his phone, there's a twitter account up, Joe has her Instagram too. I scan the screen.
"Emily!?" I mutter.
Joe doesn't say anything.
"Joe's she's 19."
"Sorry", he says and it looks like he truly means it.
I suddenly think of a ridiculous idea, I call Charlie down to Joe's room.
"We could have a double date." I say,my eyes staring at Joe.
"Wait what?" Joe sounds confused.
"Well,me and Charlie and you and Emily. I could just invite Emily somewhere then you could turn up and it would be so cool." I look for Joe to Charlie. "So I'm going to message her now." I run to my room and get my phone. I type in 'Emily.'
'Hello Emily,I was wondering if you want to go to Frankie and Bennies with me and Charlie,there will be a surprise guest so there's gunna be four of us,you up for it? If you are message me back, we'll meet this evening,if that's too soon just say. Remember to look great :).'
Emily texts me back within seconds.
'So what time?' She messages me.
She's actually coming, I tell her we are meeting at half 6. I tell Joe about it. He sounds annoyed.
"Joe I thought you would like this."
"I do I do it's just I can't go out I'll get recognised."
"Oh my."
"I will Mia."
"Stick with me and Charlie,and you won't."
It's 6pm, I'm getting changed into a long sleeved dress. Charlie is wearing a black t-shirt with jeans. Joes wearing a white t-shirt saying "sugg life" on it, he's also wearing a black jacket. As soon as we are all dressed Joe drives us to Frankie and Bennies. As soon as we get there I spot Emily, me and Charlie get out of the car, with Joe closely behind us. I'm trying towhead Joe as much as I can, Emily won't suspect a thing.
"Hi Emily." I wave at her as I walk towards her.
"Hi Mia." She says, smiling.
There's silence.
"Oh and hi Joe." Emily says, laughing this time.
Well this is awkward.
Emily looks at Joe, then grabs my arm and pushes me into Frankie And Bennies, we get there before the boys.
"Mia..." She says, keeping her voice low. "Why didn't you tell me Joe was coming?"
"Well, you know me. I wanted to surprise you." I answer.
"Mia I don't really know anything about you, so therefore I don't know you."
She's right, I guess I just keep myself to myself. I am about to say something, when i feel Charlie's hands around my waist. Joe is no where to be seen. I scan the restrant for him, I see him,sat at a table,waiting for us. Me,Charlie and Emily walk over to the table,when we get there we akwardly sit down. Charlie grabs hold of my hand under the table, but nothing is said. The waiter comes over,looking suprised that we aren't talking.
"May I take you order?" The waiter asks.
We decide to order two pizza's and two sides of chips. Me and Charlie share and Emily and Joe share. There isn't any drinks that any of us like on the menu so we all go for water,plus it's free.
Joe texts me.
'What do I do Mia?' Joe asks.
'Talk to her.' I reply.
Joe dosen't answer my text,instead he's talking to Emily. I don't know what about but their talking. I decide to talk to Charlie.
"Charlie..." I turn to him.
"What's up?" He questions.
"You will eat won't you?" I ask, my voice almost whispering.
Charlie doesn't say anything, he just looks into my eyes.
"Please Charlie." I speak up.
"I love you Mia." Is the only the he says.
"I love you too."
His hands are on my sleeves. I know what he's going to do.
"Tell Emily,if she's going to get anywhere with Joe you might have to." Charlie says.
"Not yet."
I hear our waiter, he deleivers the food. As soon as he leaves we all begin to eat,well all us us apart from Charlie. I look at him, I grab a chip and hand it to him. He slowly eats it.
We are all almost finished the food when I see someone. My dad, my vision goes blurry, I don't know what to do so just get up from my seat and run to the toilets, my vision has almost gone and I can feel people looking at me. I lock myself in one of the toilets to try and calm down.
'Come on Mia you can do this.' I keep thinking to myself over and over again. But I can't do this, I am not okay and I don't think I ever will be. I start crying, I can't stop myself it just all comes out. After what seems like hours I hear someone walk into the bathrooms and nock on the cubical door.
"Mia are you okay?" Emily asks, her voice soft.
"Emily you don't understand. You don't know anything about me."
"Look Mia, I know more than you think."
"No you don't." I say, still crying.
"Mia I know your life's hard but please come out of their I need to talk to you."
"Oh Emily just get back to Joe he's more important."
There's silence.
"Not as important as your health." Emily says, after a few minutes of silence.
So I do as I'm told, I unlock the door and Emily looks at me, my makeup has pored off my face, I look so bad, I mean I always do but I look extremly bad right now.
"Mia what's happened."
"I... I saw him."
"Who?" Emily questions.
"My dad."
I realise she knows not a lot about my past so I don't dare say anything else.
{MY PHONE IS MESSED UP SO IM ON MY LAPTOP AGAIN SORRY. I HAVE LOADS OF IDEAS FOR THIS THO ITS GUNNA BE COOLLLL.
