Melissa: She has a story in her eyes.
"You. Are. Mine." He said, emphasising each word so that they carve in my brain.
"No. Stop it." A tear stained my cheeks.
His teeth grazed my neck, leaving angry marks. A soft whimper escaped my mouth.
"I won'...

Melissa's POV.
My first day in this apartment turned out to be dull and boring. I woke up to do nothing.
My breakfast was made and the tray Sat in my room before I woke up. Maria made me toast and eggs, bacons, a glass of pineapple juice and a small bowl of pomegranate with curd. All so healthy and delicious.
After I prepared myself for the day, I ate my breakfast in my room. The toasts were burned at one side and the scrambled eggs had a small egg shell in it. Well, I couldn't complete the food after that.
Last night she cooked me such a tasty meal and the breakfast is like this... Well, never mind.
I opened my e-mails and saw that I had no meetings and events to attend today. Though I had to go shopping with our firm manager but I am not in a mood for shopping so has to be cancelled.
Is this going to be my life from now on? I thought. I don't even know the full details of the agreement. Will mother do something to get me out of this? Probably not.
Why did I become the pawn of the game?
An headache was going to come if I didn't divert my mind. I took my anxiety pills and thought about how to spend the day.
Nothing came to my mind.
So I decided to Jamesa walk around the area. I took a thin shawl over my thin dress, my phone and purse and headed out.
At the gate, Maria stood with a mop in her hand.
"Mam, do you need me to call the driver?" She asked. I waved my hand at her.
"Don't bother." I told her and headed out.
The day was dark and cloudy, cool and windy. Absolutely perfect for my mood. The sleepless nights and thoughts of a particular someone got me dark circles under my eyes.
I exited the apartment and started walking along the footpath. Expensive cars and bikes stood outside. I saw the latest model of an Ashton Martin pass by me. The roads were spotless and there were no people lingering around. You could see no cabs around the neighborhood.
There was a private park inside the society. A few kids were playing and someone took out their dog for a walk. It completely showed how posh was the neighborhood.
After 2 blocks, there was a crowd of teenagers outside a café. I stopped by and looked around, not only teenagers but there were young employees of some companies. The area from here got a bit more crowded.
I entered the café taking slow strides. The place was not empty neither completely full. I sat myself beside a glassed wall and looked at the menu. They had various types of coffee and at a cheap rate. I looked around and noticed the place was huge. There were two door at two ends. One had "Book Room" written over it and the other had "Music Room".
