Melissa's POV.

"Come in." Rogan said from inside the closed wooden door of his study.

I turned the door nob and peeked in. A table lamp was lit on top of his table and he sat there looking exhausted but so interested in his work.

His hair was messy and his veins were so prominent from his wrist to his elbows. His teal coloured t-shirt covered the rest.

"Will you just stand there and gawk at me?" He asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uh.." I bit my lip. "I need to discuss something with you. Are you free?" I asked confidently.

"I'm not free. But we can discuss whatever you want to discuss about." He said, closing his files and moving them aside, he folded his hands and sighed heavily. "Take a seat."

I nodded and walked inside closing the door. I felt eyes racking my body which made me quite uncomfortable but I didn't voice my thoughts. I took the seat opposite him and placed the contract on the table.

"I have some negotiation to make and some questions to ask." I said formally, sitting up straight in the leather clad chair.

Rogan rubbed his light stubble in his jaw and smirked. "What's there to discuss with these terms?" He asked.

"A lot."

"Let's see what we have here." He took the papers and read it again. "Tell me what you want to negotiate."

"We will go point wise." I pointed at number 2. "You mentioned that I can't call over friends or family here. Why is it so? If I'm staying here for 5 years which sounds completely bogus, then it's very obvious I need to interact with people." I put my thought out.

"Calling friends and family means Parker and the others will know that you live with me. I have no problem if they know but will you be comfortable with those judgemental looks your best friend Trisha will give you? Won't it be a matter of disgust if people know that you live with another man when you are still married to your husband legally?" Rogan smirked again, actually that irritating smirk never leaves his face. And another thing to note, he spoke more than a sentence.

"If I can't call my friends or family over then even you can't. Let's keep it equal." I negotiated.

"This is my house and I can call anyone over. That's out of question. I'll agree to friends coming over but not family." Okay, I can agree to that. I made the necessary changes in the contract with pencil.

I nod my head. "Moving on, point 3. I don't smoke but drink occasionally. And I request you to not smoke in front of me."

"Agreed."

"Okay next we have... Oh. This is something important." It was the 4th point in which he said no sexual affairs or relationships. But he himself has Rosaline Mcshire. Hypocrite. "No affairs of any kind. I assure you I will have no sexual affairs or any relationship with anyone but I want to know if you are still dating Rosaline Mcshire?" That came out so wrong. I want to facepalm at the moment.

His face structure changed. The smirk disappeared. The icy cold eyes replaced the normal ones. Did I hit a nerve there? I still didn't show my nervousness.

"That's none of your business." He said menacingly. Automatically, my left eyebrow perked in defiance.

"Well it is as of now. If we are living under the same roof and those terms are eligible for me then it should be the same for you. Also, I don't want to smell sex in the air of this apartment."

The smirk was back in his face. He placed his hands on the table and came closer to me. He licked his eyes with mine and asked, "Are you jealous, sweetheart?"

Now it was my turn to smirk. I copied his actions and placed my hand in the table just like him. Our faces were only able 5 inches apart. "No. You'll probably be if you hear about my escapades. I'm no more the innocent Melissa. Jealousy and all that crap do not faze me anymore."

If only they knew the terms behind these escapades.

"So? What will you do about Rosaline Mcshire?" I asked when he didn't answer me.

"That's again none of your business. Do not forget, I am setting the game here. I make the rules." He said through gritted teeth. I didn't show the hot rage that was burning in me; something my mother taught me.

"Moving on. What's next?" Rogan changed the subject.

"Point 5 & 6. Well, I can't do gym training. I can do yoga and jogging, I'm restricted from heavy sport." I said with a straight and serious face. I saw the structure of his face changing once again. But this time it morphed into suspicion. "Also, I want to have my check ups by my personal doctor. And I would not like to be escorted to the doctor's chamber."

He just stared at me intently without a word. Looked like he was thinking something.

"Okay." He said after a while.

Both my eyebrows rose in astonishment. "You are not going to argue about it?" I asked like a stupid girl.

Rogan rolled his eyes. "You want me to?"

"No. Okay, the next two points are pretty childish. I mean I can take care of myself I don't need a bodyguard tagging along everywhere." I said taking advantage of the time. Since, he agreed to the previous one he might agree with me now also.

"No." And, I thought too soon. "I'm not agreeing to that." He narrowed his eyes at me.

"But why?" I practically whined like a child. He doesn't understand, when I'm out of that hellhole of my husband's house and away from him for work, I feel free, independent, alive. For once.

"You belong to me now, Melissa. If you are alone your husband will try to make a move on you which I can't let that happen. So you'll be guarded at all times." He explained. The only words that played in my head were, 'you belong to me now Melissa.'

I snapped out of it and said out of instinct. "I do not belong to you."

"I have bought you out of a deal between two companies. You are my mistress now, Mrs. Evans." He smirked wickedly. All the feminists will sue me if they hear my thoughts now, this man who claims me to be his mistress is such a hot specimen and the way he smirks and uttered those words. Jesus, stop this Fangirling!

I smirked just like him. "All you men are assholes. No one is different." I told him.

"Can we get over with this?" He asked completely ignoring me.

"The last thing is I don't party as in, I do not go clubbing. I only attend social gatherings and the official ones."

He nods his head. "We are done. I'll make the contract with the necessary changes so..." He got up from the chair he was seated, "... Have a good sleep now."

He walked out of the door and I sat there thinking over whatever went about between us.

This was the longest conversation we had for the first time in the past years.
