My Babysitter is Johnnie Guilbert..what?!

Chapter Three

Jessica's POV: We finished our breakfast and I put our dishes in the sink to wash them later.

"Would you like to go to the mall" Johnnie asked me.

"Sure just let me go change"

I went upstairs and changed into Jean shorts and a Falling In Reverse shirt then grabbed my converse and went back downstairs.

"Okie I'm ready"

We got into his car and he drove us there and I pulled out my phone during the car ride. I took a picture of Johnnie and put it on my story and he tried grabbing my phone before I posted it but he didn't grab it in time.

"You looked cute, I made sure before I posted it" I said and he laughed.

"Thanks" He replied.

"Do you mind if I grab my camera from my house so I can make a vlog"

"Go ahead"

He drove to his house which was about five or six miles away from my house. He went inside and I just sat in the car and waited for him. Once he got back into the car he handed me the camera and started driving and I decided to turn on the camera.

"Hey guys it's Jessica and I'm not supposed to be filming this" I said pointing it at Johnnie.

"This is why I don't give people my camera" Johnnie said and I laughed.

"We're going to the mall see ya there" I said covering the camera then turning it off.

We arrived at the mall and I handed Johnnie his camera and he covered it then turned it on and took his hand away.

"We're at the mall now and don't know which store we are going to yet"

"Let's get pretzels from Auntie Anne's" I suggested.

"I'm gonna get a pizza pretzel" I said and we went in line and he stopped the video for a moment.

We got our pretzels and gave the woman our money and ate them while Johnnie turned his camera on again.

"Let's rent one of those animals you ride on its only five dollars"

I went over to the person while Johnnie filmed me talking to the person and gave them ten dollars. Johnnie came over and we each got on one and the guy told us how to work them and we went ahead and turned them on.

"I wanna go to hot topic" I said and we went that way.

I was going full speed and Johnnie had his camera on me and I looked back at him.

"Oof" I said as I ran into something.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry he distracted me" I said as I looked up.

It was a guy from our school he was a sophmore.

"It's cool is that your boyfriend" He randomly asked.

"Why does that matter"

"Because he might have came here with you but she's leaving with me"

Johnnie quickly turned the camera off and got off the animal.

"She may not be my girlfriend but I'm being paid to protect her and even if I wasn't being paid I still would so I suggest you get out of here"

The guy walked away and I smiled.

"Thanks Johnnie he's always bothering me at school"

"No problem"

"Did you really mean all of that?" I asked him.

"Of course I did I may not have acted like it before but I've always cared about you, you might be too old to date you but I still want you to stay safe"

"You're only two years older than me because I'm 15 and you're 17, it just happens that you're a senior and I'm a freshman"

"I still don't think your parents would like it"

"I don't know, we can still be friends though that's the most important to me"

"We should go ahead and take back the animals my parents will be home soon"

We rode the mechanic animals back to the person we rented them from and thanked them. We didn't end up going to hot topic or anything but that was fine because I still had fun. Johnnie drove us back to my house. Right when we got in my parents walked through the door.

"Here's the money, thank you for staying here with her" My dad said handing him the money.

"I'm just going to go get my bag and I'll go ahead and leave"

"You can stay for dinner if you'd like" My mom said smiling.

"No that's fine I'm sure my parents have some chores they need me to do"

"Are you sure you don't want to stay?" She asked.

"Oh mom can I go to the park around five, my friend wants to meet up" I said and Johnnie nodded his head understanding.

"Of course just be back by curfew because it's a school night"

Johnnie grabbed his things and left and I went up to my room. I messaged Johnnie on snapchat and he instantly replied. 

M: So I'll see you there at six right
J: Yes
M: Ok I was just checking
J: I'll see you in a bit

I went ahead and did my homework I had from Friday before I had to go. I had my Algebra and Spanish and a little bit of my Social Studies project left. I went ahead and did the Spanish and Social studies but I didn't really understand the Algebra.

M: Hey is there any chance you can help me with my Algebra
J: Sure we can do it at the park
M: Thank you so much

I grabbed my binder and my book and put it into my bookbag and grabbed a jacket for when it gets a bit cold out. I put on my shoes and walked out the door.

"Hey thanks for agreeing to meet me"

"No problem I enjoy spending time together"
