Chapter Six

Jessica's POV: It's now 3:35 and I just got off of the bus. I arrived at my house and went upstairs and sat my things in my room. I had word problems from algebra but that was the only homework I had because I finished my social studies project. I scrolled through my notifications and saw that Johnnie tried calling me five minutes ago so I pressed his contact and called him back.

M: Hey Johnnie did you need something
J: I was wondering what your answer was
M: I want to tell you in person, come over
J: Is it alright with your parents
M: Probably
J: Alright I'll be there in ten

He hung up the phone and I went downstairs and got a cookie.

"Do you want to come to Tractor Supplies with me and dad" My mom asked me.

"No Johnnie is coming over"

"Are you two dating"

"I'm going to tell him my answer, I think he should get to know first"

"That's nice, well be good and remember we can walk in at any moment" She said and I laughed.

My mom and dad left and I waited in the living room for Johnnie to get here. I was getting ready to turn on the TV and I heard the doorbell ring. I got up and went to the door and let Johnnie in.

"Do you want a cookie? We have a lot left" I asked him.

"Sure you're cookies are amazing"

"Well that batch was at least" I said and he smiled.

"So what's your answer?"

"I want to get this on video, let's make one for YouTube" I said smiling.

"You're lucky I brought my camera" He said pulling it out of his jacket pocket.

We went up to my room and he propped the camera up exactly how he did it last time and pressed the button.

The video

"Hey guys it's Johnnie and once again I'm here with Jess. Today this is going to be hopefully a special video but here we go...Jess will you go out with me" He said and I just looked at him and smiled.

"It would be my honor" I said and he hugged me.

"You saw it here first, Jessica and Johnnie are officially a couple" He said and I laughed.

"This is going to be a short video" I replied.

"Everyone go follow Jess' snapchat, twitter and instagram links will be in the bio"

"Stay happy not crappy life's a b**** don't quit peace out thug pugs byeee"

After the video

The only thing he did for editing was add the Ahhhhh it's Johnnie little thing at the beginning. Next he posted it and I looked at him.

"I need help with my homework" I told him.

"Is it algebra again?"

"Yes"

"Alright we can do this"

I pulled my book and notebook out of my bookbag, then my pencil and calculator out of my pencil case. I opened to the page we were on and Johnnie looked over the problems for a little bit.

"This is like what we did last time" He told me.

"I know I just hate word problems"

"Look, you just have to set this up into an inequality it isn't that hard Jess"

"It is when you don't feel like doing it"

"Try the first problem, if you don't get the answer or work right then I will help you. If you do get it right then you're capable of doing it yourself"

"You're rude" I replied.

"Well you need to learn to be able to do it all by yourself when you take the quiz or test, whatever"

"I guess so"

"Start the problem, I will do it also to see what answer I get" He said and I gave him a piece of paper from my notebook.

I always get stuck on how to form the inequality, Johnnie doesn't know that. Usually I just guess what goes where and I hope for the best. So like always I guessed and wrote down the random numbers and started to solve the inequality. Once I was done with the inequality I graphed it and then I was finished.

"Let me see your paper" Johnnie said and I handed it to him.

"You got it right"

"I guessed"

"What do you mean?"

"Never mind"

"Tell me, if you don't understand then I want to help you"

"No it's fine, I understand" I told him and I started to put my things back in my bag.

"Now let's go go have some fun" Johnnie said smiling and he grabbed my hand and pulled me off the bed.

"Where are we going"

"I saw your PlayStation so we are going to play it"

"That's been broken for months" I replied and he looked sad.

"I sowwy" I replied.

"My parents will be coming home soon" I told him.

"So?"

"I just thought I should point that out, I don't know why"

"I'll have to head home soon since it is a school night my parents won't want me home too late"

"You can head home now so you can finish any homework you have"

"No I'm going to go ahead and wait until your parents get home just to make sure you're safe"

"I'm sure my parents will appreciate that" I replied.

I checked the time on my phone and it was close to eight so they should be home soon. Key word SHOULD. They will probably end up bringing home some food for supper but I don't know. Johnnie and I messed around for a little bit (not sexually you little freaks) then we waited for my parents. They got home close to nine and Johnnie went home.

"Here's your food" My mom said handing me a Wendy's bag.

In the bag was baconator fries and chicken nuggets my favorite. I hurried and ate the food and then I went up to my room and finished my algebra. Next I took my shower and set my alarm and then it was time for me to go to bed.
