Chapter Twenty Four

Jessica's POV: We headed back to the house and quickly climbed back up the tree to my room.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked her.

"Um I'm not sure, it's been awhile since I've stayed at your house"

"I know"

"Why don't we watch a scary movie on Netflix"

"Okay you pick out the movie I'll go make popcorn" I said and she grabbed the remote.

I quietly walked into the kitchen and got to bags of popcorn out and then popped one at a time and put them into a bowel. I went ahead and grabbed us each a bottle of pop to wash it down and then I walked back upstairs. She decided she wanted to watch IT.

The next morning

"Hey I have to go, my mom is on her way" Ariel said waking me up.

"Oh okay"

It was already a little after noon and I was once again already bored. I went ahead and walked Ariel down to the door and she left then I decided to get some more cookies.

"Mom can John....never mind I forgot we broke up" I said looking down at the ground.

She gave me a little side hug the walked off and I decided to go to the park. I grabbed my phone from upstairs and then I just left. My parents can call if they need to know where I am. I arrived at the park and I went over and sat on one of the swings. I looked around at the kids playing but then I saw something in the bushes...something I wish I didn't. Johnnie and Ariel were together and laughing a lot. I continued watching hoping I could read their lips and then they kissed and I saw Ariel taking a picture. This made me furious. I quickly stood up and started walking over to them and I tackled her.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS" I screamed while laying on top of her.

"You don't understand"

"You know I wanted him back, you know I love him and in return you kiss him?"

"Jess look...

"No Johnnie, have fun with your new girlfriend. You're right, I need to move on"

I got up off of her and started walking away and I knew I was being followed.

"YOU'RE OUT OF THE COLLAB ACCOUNT" I yelled back at her.

I walked home and went up to my room and groaned as I fell onto my bed. The one friend I have left. I mean yeah, maybe he was trying to make me jealous like I tried doing to him but he actually kissed her. But then again it looked like I kissed Chris..maybe I overreacted but I'm not mad at Johnnie I'm mad at Ariel. I'll talk to Johnnie about it but I'm done with her.

"Hey" I heard Johnnie say through my closed window.

I went over and opened it and let him in.

"We were making you jealous"

"I know I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at her"

"Look Jess, I want to get back together"

"After all of this I think we're better off just being friends. I love you I really do and I want to be with you but is it worth it?"

"Of course it's worth it"

"I don't know"

"Please Jess"

"Fine but don't expect things to instantly be back to normal"

"Thank you, I love you" He said hugging me.

"I love you too, next time just don't dump me"

"Am I allowed to kiss you? I miss the feeling of your lips against mine"

"Have you washed her off your lips?"

"I'll go do that now" He said as he walked out of my room and went to the bathroom.

He came back in and kissed me and then sat down on my bed. Honestly this felt kind of awkward, we had our first fight and it was a huge one. I mean after all it did cause us to split up for a week.

"Hey Jessica...oh Johnnie is here"

"We're back together"

"That's good, are you able to do a load of laundry real quick?"

"Sure mom, I'll be right back Johnnie"

I walked down to the laundry room and threw a load of clothes in then came back up and he was gone. I guess he had something to do, whatever.
