Katy Grace Hunter always dreamed of becoming an actress on Broadway and now it was happening. Someone had discovered her. All those tedious auditions and waiting for callbacks were finally paying off.
"This is the opportunity of a lifetime, Shawn! I thought you supported me in this!" she yelled, grasping at her hair in frustration.
"I want to support you, Katy. Believe me I do. But this is too much. You're barely home anymore, I'm constantly doing everything, you're pretty much letting Maya do whatever, and soon your own son won't be able to recognize with how little you spend time with him now." Shawn snidely pointed out.
She slammed her fists onto the table, her face bright red with anger. "That is such bullshit and you know it! You agreed to this even after I told you how it would consume most of my time and you would have to take on a little more responsibility. You promised you'd do anything it takes to help me pursue my dream. So what happened?" cried Katy.
There was a deafening silence in the room, Katy now in tears and barely able to hold it together.
