6: friendship Is a ship that shouldn't sink

*Dolans pov*
I went to the beach on Sunday. I saw Chloe there. She was on her phone under an umbrella. She was there with her friends Nina and Sal. They were laughing. Sal kept smothering on suncream. I did too. We have to, otherwise we'd burn up. I ran out of mine. My arm starts burning. She turns around. She pulls down her sunglasses. She notices me. She gets up and brings over her bottle. Her arms have muscles. Her nose has freckles. She turned a few heads as she walked over. She sat down next to me. Hi she smiled. She fidgeted at her bikini top. She handed the suncream to me. Is it tied properly? She asked, throwing her plaits down her back. I'll tighten it I say. She holds her plaits up and I tighten it. You're not really a beach person are you? She asks. I shake my head. She gets up and leaves. I go back to burning. Suddenly, a bucket of water splashes me. I splutter. I sit up. Sal is laughing. Right I laugh. I start running after her. She picks up sand and throws it at me. She found an hat somewhere. I push her into the sea. She pulls me down too. Isn't this fun? She asks. No, but this is I reply and dunk her under the water. She floats for a few minutes. I get worried. I shake her. Ha! She shouts and dunks my head under the water too. She runs out. People look at her. She gives them her finger. She walks back to her friends and they leave. I leave soon as well. I get a text from my brother.

Zaragamba: Dude, are you free nxt Friday evning?
Dolan: Ya, why?
Zaragamba: Bc someone wants to join the team
Dolan: Ya, ok

I sit down thinking. Sal is a really fun person. Another text message interrupts my thoughts. It's from Andi.

Andi: Dude, r u coming to mi bday prty?
Dolan: yup, of course
Andi: u can bring someone if u want :P
Dolan: can I bring Sal?
Andi: I'm sure she's going with Tolop? I'm not sure
Dolan: can I bring Goopie?
Andi: sure, go ahead : )

Then I had a shower and went to bed.

*Andis pov*
I can't wait for my birthday. My most expensive present this is year is a trip to Canada. But it's where my family live. Adams family too. We're staying there til January. I'm gonna be 21. Melissa is gonna be there too. She's not really my friend but she's part of the squad and it would be rude not to invite her. She's annoying sometimes. I prefer Sal. I hope she comes. She and Tolop make such a cute couple. Tolop is my second best guy friend. I've got detentions too for talking too much. They said I was interrupting the class. I talk a lot. I draw too. Anyway, I'm positively excited for my birthday. It's Nightfall themed. I'm having it in my parents old house. They had a mansion with big huge balconies and ponds. We moved when we I was a kid to Canada. We rent that house out now. We rent it out for partys, holiday home, etc. We visit it too. Other than that, it's just abandoned. It's next to a huge story book forest. We have to do this in class. They said keep an online journal. They said we could involve drawings too. I have my exams on Monday but I'll be gone by Wednesday with Adam. Anyways, Good night.
