28: Pizza understands

*Sals pov*
I got up during the night, due to a nightmare. I turned over, expecting to see Tolop. I was confused to see when he wasn't there but then I remembered he was arrested. I lay thinking. Who else is besides Tolop, could I tell my nightmare to? Chloe? No, she'd be watching YouTube and won't want to be interrupted. Nina? No, she'd be asleep. Dolan? He'd be editing videos. I lay there thinking even more. Then it came to be and I was surprised by how long it took me to realize. HELLBENT! I went out of my room. I walked in. He was awake. Hellbent, I'd a nightmare. Can I sleep in with you tonight? I'll sleep on the floor. I said. He yawned and turned on his lamp. Tell me about the nightmare he says, straighting up. So I was thinking about a wedding. I was at the alter, waiting for Tolop. I waited for ages and then when he came, it wasn't Tolop. It was you and then you got mad and then you attacked everyone, including me. Then you went home to my apartment and...and...then you brutally murdered my twins I cried. He looked at me. Hey, I know it's not decent but the weather over here is so warm, I've to wear a vest top and shorts going to bed. And sometimes lie uncomfortably on ice. I learned to always bring suncream with me because I got burned the first two hours I was in Australia. You're not sleeping on the floor, I'll sleep on the floor, and you can have my bed he says. Before I could object, he picked me up and dumped me on the bed. I smelled in his musky cologne. I feel asleep, breathing in that beautiful smell.

*Hellbents pov*
I woke up early and dressed. I think Sal was asleep. She's really lazy but it's cute. Then I shook her awake. Hellbent, it's like, six, who gets up at that time? She complained and put a pillow over her eyes. First, you've to do two weeks worth of homework- I began. Don't care about that she snapped back. And second, we've to complain about that teacher who almost kissed you I end, zipping up my blue cardigan. Fuck you, I'll go to school if I want to go to school she yawns. I open the curtains and take the pillow off her head. Fine, but you owe me and she goes to her room. She comes out wearing a blue warm up suit. I sigh. No point in telling her she'll get In trouble. We start walking. Wow, who knew that you liked school she says sarcastically. I ignore her. We get to school. Even more ugly than I remember she says again, even though she was only in it yesterday. She walks away from me and heads towards to the hall. Two minutes later, I hear music. I stay in the corridor and do my incomplete maths homework. I see Dolan. Do you know where Sal is? He asks. I nod towards the hall. He goes towards the hall. I hear some beat drops in there. Hey says a familiar voice. It's Andi. She went on a little break to Canada for her birthday treat. I look at her. Think she took a leaf out of Sals book and decided to wear whatever she liked. She was wearing shorts and a navel top. Hi, how was Canada?
Fabulous, I got earrings there. I'm wearing them. You like them? She asks. She hooks her hair behind her ears and reveals hoop earrings nearly as big as her face. I nod.

*Dolans pov*
I go into the hall. Sal is doing her warm-ups there. Hey Sal. She doesn't hear me. HEY SAL I yell, a little louder. She still doesn't hear me. I turn off the music. Sal, I've good news for you. She stops. You figured out where Australia is on the map? She says sarcastically and laughs. No, the video you narrated hit five hundred thousand views I declare, excited. Wow. She picks up her things and leaves. Wow. I'm shocked. Usually Sal would be all hyper and sarcastic but not today. Melissa comes in. Hey Dolan, I've an idea for the channel-She chirps. I push past her and leave.

*Shimas pov*
I arrived in late. Just before the first break. Hey, I was at the studio, narrating, can you blame me? I didn't see Sal at all. Usually she has a weird joke or crappy pun to make me laugh, like: the toaster and I got into a heated argument yesterday. I'm not crazy. I did spot her at the vending machine, but she didn't say hi. It's normal for her to ignore those she doesn't like, but me and the squad? That's a completely different story. Melissa was outside, vlogging like usual. Dolan hung out with Andi. She was telling Dolan about her break in California. The bell went and went to the library. Sal was there. Hey she sighed and went out.

*Hellbents pov*
Sal finally made an appearance, last class. Social studies. She kept staring at the wall. At the end of the class I went up to her. Sal, are you okay? She looked at me. Sure, never better she snapped back. She left the school. I walked out of the classroom. I walked smartly to the principal's office. The principal was there. One of the teachers- Mr Diego- tried to kiss Sal yesterday I yelled, slamming my hands on the desk. Don't believe you he replied, not looking up from the laptop. Check the schools camera I shout. He continues as though he doesn't hear me. I sigh and go up to the camera. I hook it off the wall and rewind it to yesterday's surveillance. He watches it. Sure enough, it showed Mr Diego and Sal trying to escape him. I'll fire him tomorrow he says. I walk out. Sal is leaning against the wall outside, stroking her stomach. Hey Sal. I told the principal what happened with you and Diego. He's gonna fire him tomorrow I say. She looks at me. She suddenly hugs me. I've done nothing but be annoyed at you at the squad she mumbles into my shoulder. Wanna go for a large pepperoni pizza? I ask. She nods. Sure, I haven't eaten much today. We walk to the pizzeria. Well I do. She runs ahead because she has a sorta Peter pan personality. She bounds in. Hello World she shouts. Everyone turns around and looks at her. She backflips to the counter. I follow. A large pepperoni pizza. Excuse my friend, she's a little crazy I say. No, it's fine, we don't get much people like her in here the server smiles. The pizza costs eight dollars. I pay for it and we walk home. Thanks Hellbent Sal says, mouth full of pizza. No problem. She finishes the crust and leaves. She really is a great person.
