*Sals pov*
I didn't go to school like usual. I stayed in and watched Netflix. I think of Tolop. I can't get off my mind. It's not possible that he feels the same way about me. I look down. I need to get it looked at sometime soon. I actually dunno how it happened. It just randomly came out of nowhere. Oh well. I paused the t.v and went to make coffe. The door knocked. I sighed. I wasn't in the mood for visitors. I went to the cupboard and found the good biscuits. Tolop walked in. Oh it's you. Hi I say. Sal I wanted to tell you something he says. The kettle boils and I pour the water. I turn around. Ya? What is it? I ask. I put the biscuits on the table and he walks over. Well. Ever since I meet you, I wanted you to be mine. I think you are really fun and sweet. I also think you'd make a great mother when the kid is born. He blurts out. I look at him. Wow. I didn't think that Tolop, a straight  A student, would think that about a rebel, bent F student, like myself. We look at each other. I offer him the biscuit tin and he takes one. So, what are your origins? Where did you come from? I ask. He gulps. I originally came from South Africa then we moved to America for a while. Now I'm here he says. I nod. I came from Ireland. Green Ireland. We should go there someday I say. He looks at me. I quickly drink my tea. Wanna go for a walk? I ask. He nods. We both get up. I have an idea brewing in my head. We step out into the fresh air. We walk down the main street. A guy in a straitjacket comes up to me. He's managed to half escape out if them. Ireland is gonna be in big danger in the next fourteen years. You're the only one that could stop this terrible Faith from happening. Please, you gotta listen to me he pleads, holding onto my elbow and kneeling on the ground. I try backing away from him, slowly. Two doctors come up. They each take a shoulder and start taking him away. But the man doesn't give up. Me and your mam are in hospital. Do your best to hold the family name with pride. You he was cut off mid sentence due to the fact that one of the doctors put their hand over his mouth. He bit it and continued shouting. I walked away slowly with Tolop. Don't mind him. He's old Jim. Some say he lost his mind and he just shouts gibberish. That's why he's in a straitjacket Tolop told me. But I can't help but wonder. If he really thinks that my home country will be done for in the next few years, I wouldn't call that mad. And how could I make it not happen? Tolop brought me into a cute  café. It's on me he says. I order a coffee and chocolate. We sit down. Where is she? Where's my daughter? Comes a voice. The whole café looks at the door. Jim. He spots me and runs towards me. Tolop stands up. He stands in front of me. Jim dodges him and gets to me. Whatever you do, don't do anything that might wreck Ireland. Please, I beg you he pleads, looking me in my eyes. Tolop pulls him away. No, let him stay I reply. But Sal he answers back. The two doctor's from before drag him away. I think of what Jim said the rest of the day and part of the night.
