*Fast forward a few months*

*Sals pov*
I woke up in the middle of the night. I pretty much just gave up on school four months ago. I used the toilet. When I was washing my hands, I felt the area around my vagina getting wet. I used the toilet again. I went back to my room and tried to sleep it off. I woke up again around 4am. I felt winded. I tried getting up. I grabbed a hold of my desk and then tried grabbing the wall. I fell on the floor just outside Tolops room. I got back up again. I managed to reach his light. What's up? Turn the light back off he moaned. Tolop, I think, my water's broke I replied. He leapt up and put on a shirt-he never bothers wearing a shirt at night- and took a hold of my hand. We walked as fast as we could to his car. Just breathe he Said as he started the car. Thank God there was no traffic so we got to the hospital fast enough. Have you a room booked? Asked the recipient. I shook my head no and pretended to fall on the ground. I winked at Tolop. Ma'am, do you want her to give birth right here and now on the floor? Get her a Damn wheelchair he told her firmly.

*Tolops pov*

She got on and in two minutes we were being wheeled to a room. Sal was determined to wheel herself so we took the elevator. She gave up when we were on the floor coming up. I pushed her. She turned around and put her hand on mine. I squeezed it back. We stopped outside a room marked Labour room. We both looked at each other. Her hair was all over her face. I put it behind her ears. She hugged me and I kissed her. Sal. No matter what happens, I will be there. Even if something happens to you, I'll look after them I gulped. She sighed and pushed the door open. I followed her. She was being hoisted into the thing by some doctor. I looked outside. I nearly got smacked in the face when a nurse came in. Even with her long hair tied back and her nurses outfit I still recognised her. Andi. She adjusted her mask and went over. Sal had a breathing mask. She looked at me. I immediately felt so bad. I walked over. She grabbed my hand and held onto it tightly. Andi got a weird plastic thing and told me to put it on over me. She then put on a mask. She then left. Why you leaving? I asked. You don't need me anymore she Said and left. Sal fell asleep. So did I. She shook me awake. *Two hours later*. Sal had given birth to twins. I held the boy. What shall we call them? She smiled, running her fingers through her hair. I knew the perfect names. Thunder and Lighting I said. She smiled and kissed me. The nurses took them away. She decided to go to the bathroom. She came back looking a bit fresher. Will you go back home? There's a small black denim bag for Thunder and a small blue leather for Lighting. They are on the couch she asked. I walked out. She looked at the twins before a nurse came up to her. She took the twins in her hands and followed the nurse. Room 20, low first floor she told me. I nodded and left. When I got to her apartment, it showed clear signs of it being broken into. All her letters were askew, her blanket on the couch was on the floor and her fridge was empty. I got the bags and then rang her friends. They said no they didn't do anything. I got back to the hospital. I walked in. She smiled at me and held her arms out for a hug. I hugged her. She gave Thunder to change. Thunder had little tufts of black hair and small blue eyes like his mother. A nurse came and changed his diaper. He started crying. I held him up against my chest until he stopped. Sal smiled. He's just exercising his lungs she said. She gave me Lightning. Weirdly, she took my facial shape. I felt my heart swell with pride. She looked at me. She fell asleep on my chest. Yup, definitely Sals daughter. She's lazy like you I laughed. I'm not lazy she smiled. Dolan came in. He carried a white bag in his hand. He gave the bag to Sal and took Thunder off her. She left into the little bathroom they had. She's smart, she asked Dolan to bring her own shampoo and things so she didn't have to pay for the hospital ones. Well done bro. He smiled. I smiled back. I kept thinking of her apartment.
