-4 days later-
"i fell okay. when can i go home?" i asked the doctor.

"whenever you can get a parent release." he replied.

"right now," mario said walking into the room.

"here's her mom," mario said walking into the room.

i gave a confused look. my mom was dead.

marios mom walked into the room. wow mario.

"hi i'm ashley alynette," marios mom said walking into the room.

"hello just sign these papers," the doctors said.

she took the papers and signed off as my mom.

"i brought you some clothes to change into," mario said. "they're cat's"

he threw an outfit on the bed for me to change into.

i slowly got out of the hospital bed. i was really sore but i didn't want to show that to the doctors.

i went into the bathroom and changed into the outfit that mario brought for me.

i was walking back to my hospital room looking down when i ran into someone. i felt a sharp pain as they bumped into me.

"ow," i said.

"oh my god i'm-" i looked up.

"wait do i know you?" i asked

"oh my god maddy! yah. i go to your school. we had honers algebra 2 together freshman year."

"oh wait! collin?!" i asked.

"yah!" he said.

"you going back to the same school the up coming year?" i asked.

"yah! and if you don't mind me asking you, uh why are you here?" he asked.

"well..i don't really remember i got hurt. broken rib, and really bruised." i said.

"oh i'm so sorry," he said.

"it's fine, but what about you?" i asked.

"oh my sister had a baby a couple hours ago so i was on my way to get some food," he said.

"oh that's cool! tell her congrats." i said.

"of course. also uhm would you uh like to join me for lunch maybe?" he asked.

"oh, well sure!" i said,"oh wait let me tell my friend who signed me out. you can come if you want."

we walked back to my room.

"hey mario, this is my friend collin. i ran into him in the hospital. he goes to school with us, he invited me to go to lunch with him." i said.

"okay! have fun. uhm come to my house when you are done," he said

"sounds like a plan!" i said.

"thank you for everything," i said to my doctor.

"it's no problem sweet heart. make sure you are taking your medication everyday."

"i will!" i replied.

he called an uber and as soon as it pulled up we told it to go to panda express.

we got to panda express. we payed the uber driver and went into the restaurant.

"thanks for coming to lunch with me i had a great time and we should hang out again!" he said dropping me off at marios.

"yah definitely," i responded.

he was really cute and really nice.

he smiled and then he leaned in. i did too. then instantly he kissed me, and i kissed back.

"bye collin," i smiled.

"bye maddy."
