"mario what if my dad sees me? literally we are next door!" i exclaimed.
"we won't let him hurt you ever again, and i am never letting you go back there," he said.
"what about my money? my plane ticket? everything important?!" i said.
"well i got your money out of your drawer. and your laptop and camera. and your chargers. and your backpack, which has your ticket. i also grabbed some photos i found for you. and i left your clothes we can go shopping and get new stuff. you're not going back as long as i live ." mario said.
"mario-"
"don't." he said.
"you're a great friend," i hugged him.
"i'd do anything to protect you. you're my best friend and you mean the world to me," he said.
i hugged him again. i looked up at him and smiled.

"i feel so bad for ariel, why would blake do that?" i asked.
"i always knew he would turn out like this hanging out with hunter," he realized what he said,"uh sorry. it just came out."
"it's okay i don't even care at this point. he didn't even care to see me in the motherfucking hospital. and he never even texted me to see if i was okay." i said.
"yah. so uhm do you like that collin kid?...i mean he seems nice," he said.
"well i don't really know him. so i'm not sure yet but he seems really nice. i'd like to get to know him i guess," i said.
"yah i think i had geography with him last year," he replied.
"oh cool! we had honers algebra II together last year," i said.
"oh cool hah i'm not smart. i was in algebra 1 last year," he said.
"nah that's normal math is my favorite so it's really easy for me!" i said.
"oh that's really cool. is there anything else that you like that i don't know about?" he asked.
"well i really really like music. but i'm not very good at singing so i've never really done it in front of anyone." i said.
"i bet you're really good," he said,"oh do you play any instruments?"
"yah. i play guitar, drums, and piano. oh and in elementary school i played a little violin but i quit after two years."
"that's really cool," mario said.
"thanks, no one has ever really cared about me in a long time," i smiled.
"i really really care," he side hugged me.
"thanks," i said.
"anytime," he smiled.
