-4 weeks later-
ariel and mario still sat by my hospital bed, everyday for four weeks straight. why couldn't i wake myself up?!
a doctor came into the room,"i'm sorry to break it to you. but four weeks is very over average. we might have to take her off of life support. she has no hope left. i think this is it."
"no!" ariel yelled,"its not! give her more time! she's strong!"
"okay one more week and that's it," he said.
"thank you," ariel started to break down.
i couldn't see my friends like this.
"ahh!" i started to scream.
"oh my god! ariel yelled.
could they hear me?
"she's up! doctor!" ariel.
"i'm up, i-i'm up" i started to cry.
"maddy!" ariel and mario ran over and hugged me.
"ow!" i let out a scream.
"be careful!" the doctor say coming in,"she had a broken rib and lots of bruises."
"how'd? all i remember was- never mind it's not important." i said.
"yes it is. how'd this happen? we need to know all you remember," the doctor said.
"well, um," i tried to think of a made up story. "well i was on my way home from tour and i got out of the uber and walked into my house and that's literally all i remember."
"are you sure you don't remember anything else?" ariel asked.
"nothing," lies.
"okay." the doctor said.
"so uh how long do i have to stay here?" i asked.
"well it depends when you feel good enough to go home. we will have you wrapped up so it should feel a lot better. but we need a parent signature to clear you to leave," he said.
well shit.
i glanced over at mario. he gave me the ive got it covered don't worry look. i was so glad i had good friends i could rely on.
"so uh what's all this i heard you guys talking about hunter?" i asked.
"he couldn't make it," mario said
"why?" i asked.
"i'm not sure. i think he was with blake," mario replied.
"better then with loren," i laughed.
they didn't.
"is she-"
"it's okay maddy. she is but it's not because of hunter. it's her and blake." ariel looked broken.
"oh ariel," i said,"i'm so sorry."
"it's whatever," she said.
