Jessica's P.O.V
"You look beautiful," he whispered in my ear.
I blushed, feeling the red creep up my cheeks. This might have been a better idea than I thought it was.
I hugged Michael back, enjoying how his clearly defined muscles were wrapped tightly around me. He was wearing the simplest white t-shirt, and jeans, but yet he looked totally hot.
"Thanks." I said shyly. When I pulled away from the hug (Tessa's stares were making holes in my face), he still kept one arm around me, making me smile.
Laughing and chatting with all of his friends was nice. They weren't the disgusting teenage boys that everybody said they were: they were decent. Crazy.... but pretty decent. And not one time during the whole time did Michael's hand leave my waist. I wasn't exactly sure what we were. I guess friends, but he acted like we were something more. Then again, we had only known each other for a day or two, so it wasn't like we were an item or anything.
The day blazed by, and before long, it was time for lunch. I got a salad, with Bailey, and walked over to our usual lunch table. I said hi to everyone, as usual, and we started talking about our classes.
"Did you see the way Mr. Knott's tie clashes with his shirt?" Haley asked in disgust shaking her head, "I mean, yellow and red and blue stripes with a pink shirt... what are we, in a Dr. Seuss book here?"
"Guys, I have no homework," I started, "It's like the angels have descended upon us."
Xavier, Bailey's boyfriend nodded. "I don't have any either." A chorus of nopes came from everybody else. "You're all going to the football game right?" he asked.
"Yeah, do you think it's going to be cold, I mean weather people say its going to be pretty cold but you can't really trust them, I mean ri-" Lexi (a.k.a. the rambler) stopped mid-sentence. Or should I say mid paragraph. She was staring at something over my shoulder.
"Lex...? Lex we're waiting..." I said impatiently. That's kind of my pet-peeve, people talking and then just not finishing the conversation.
A tray was put down beside me: and I instantaneously knew why Lexi had been excited.

Sorry this chapter is kind of short: I'm going to make the next one extra long. Tell me what you think: too predictable? Too stereo typical?
Vote, Comment, Share, whatever. You know how it works.
