Omg it's been like, 1889 bazillion years. Sorry :( . But I'm back...

"And Michael Larsen Has a breakaway!! Ladies and gentlemen, this might be it.. AND HE SCORES... THE CROWD GOES WILD..... ANOTHER WIN FOR OAKRIDGE HIGH!!"

The crowd screamed, and everyone hugged each other, running onto the field. Michael was getting about a million hugs, and pats on his back. he veered away from the crowd, walking over to where I was standing. Or maybe I was jumping up and screaming.

I tackled him, screaming congratulations.

"OH MY GOD YOU DID IT!! DAMN, YOU'RE ACTUALLY GOOD. I MEAN I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT, I PROMISE, AM I RAMBLING I HOPE NOT, BUT OH MY GOD CONGRA--"

I don't know if it was to shut me up, out of happiness, or just because he liked me, but suddenly, Michael kissed me.
All of the butterflies came back, but they weren't so much nervousness as happiness. Honestly, it was great.

"I... I'm sorry," he said quickly pulling away.

"I'm not," I said, smiling.

Sadly, we pulled away due to the 'hooting and hollering' from our friends as they saw us. We got up from the tackle position that I had so weirdly put us in, and he put his arm around my waist, pulling me close.

"Jess, there's a couple of guys on the team that are throwing a party tonight. You want to come?" he asked.

"Of course," I stood on my tip toes, pecking him lightly on the cheek.

[2 hours later]

Jessie's P.O.V.

"Michaelll?" I wandered around the big house, looking for Michael. "Where are you?"

The party had ended early; a few guys had started a fight, and the host didn't want the cops to show up.

I have up looking for him : I Had been trying for 20 minutes. I figured he had already left with a few friends.

"Bailey, you ready to go?" I asked my drunken friend.

"Jessicaa," she slurred, "I missed you, It's been too long. Did your face get fuzzier or is it me?"

"It's you. You're drunk... and it's time to go. Lets get you up," I grabbed her hand and hoisted her off the couch.

As I escorted her out, I noticed two shadows in the front of the house. With Bailey rambling on about how 'most of the players on the Giants aren't actually giants', I was having a hard time seeing who they were. As we got closer to the car, I could make out a few hushed voices coming from the shadows.

"No, you can't tell her. Do you know how mad her parents will be?" a girls voice rang out.

"I don't have another option. I can't just not tell her everything that happened before, let her just forget what we used to be." A male's voice said.

"You have to build up a relationship again. You can't just expect her to remember." Said the girls voice again, getting closer. By now, I was really wondering what they were talking about.

"Whatever. I'll think about it."

I could now make out the two figures: it was... Michael and Haley??

As they got closer, I locked Bailey's door, and walked towards them. "Michael, Haley. I thought you left 30 minutes ago, Hal? And Michael, I was looking for you." I said, looking at both of them, still wondering what they had been talking about.

"Oh, um, we just had to talk. Get a few people in their cars." Haley looked surprised.

"Sure. Well, do you guys need a ride home?" I asked suspiciously.

"Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks Jess." Michael gave his award winning smile.

"Well... hop in." I grumbled thinking about what they could have been doing earlier, or what they were talking about.
