A FEW MONTHS LATER (again)

Cecilia:

"Lord..." I whispered sitting back onto the couch. Once I sat down Caleb brought some of his toys into the room and began playing with them. I smiled and rubbed my bulging stomach as Max came back in with a glass of lemonade.

"Thanks." I smiled taking it. I was too big and too close to my due date to be at work so I was basically stuck on the couch all the time. I was having twins, two boys. We were naming them Ryder and Harrison.

"You alright?" Max asked worriedly.

"I'm fine." I smiled leaning on my elbow as I stared at the big diamond ring on my finger. Oh yea, Max practically begged me to marry him. I have it all on video. I was a little skeptical at first but he said he wanted to settle down and be with only me so I agreed and we were planning the wedding for when after the twins were born.

His excuse for waiting a while after the twins were born was because on our honeymoon he said he wanted to have another baby to be conceived on our wedding night. He was so cheesy but I loved it.

He grabbed my feet and placed them on his lap and began rubbing them. He was so caring and every aspect of pregnancy he wanted to be apart of. He loved pressing his ear to my stomach and listening and he loved feeling them both kick at his hands. His face would light up so happily over the fact that he could witness this pregnancy.

"I love you." He said while continuing to rub my feet.

"I love you too. Thank you for taking care of me." I smiled.

"I love taking care of you and Caleb and the twins." He assured.

"I know you do." I said.

"Daddy." Caleb said standing up and walking over. He moved my feet and I chuckled and shifted them off.

"Let's wrestle." Caleb grinned and Max and I laughed.

Caleb and Max wrestled all the time. From the time they woke up to in the evening.

"How about we watch a movie instead? Daddy is tired and mommy's feet are sore." Max said grabbing my feet. Caleb stared at my swollen feet and raised his eyebrows.

"Did Ryder and Harrison do that?" He asked curiously.

"No, this is just what happens to some mommy's when they are pregnant. You gave me sore feet too." I said and he nodded.

"When will Ryder and Harrison be here?" He asked. In his mind, once Harrison and Ryder were born he believes that they will both be his age so that they can play together.

"Soon, buddy." Max assured while running his hands through his curls.

"They are taking a long time to grow." He mentioned.

"They are incubating, like the eggs in Pokemon." Max laughed.

"Maxwell!" I laughed.

"Are Harrison and Ryder going to be Pokemon?" Caleb asked curiously.

"No they are going to be little boys like you." I chuckled.

"Daddy you're lying. They aren't incur...bading." He said trying to get the word out. Max and I both laughed and Max scooped up Caleb and sat him on his lap.

"You are so smart, buddy." Max noted and I smiled while watching Caleb sit contently on Max's lap. In a few months I would be able to call Max my husband. I am totally the type of girl to walk around and call him hubby. I was that level of weird.

I started giggling slightly and both boys looked at me.

"Mommy stop being weird." Caleb frowned and I ended up laughing with them.

"Thanks Cale." I teased while pushing his thigh with my foot.

"You're welcome." He smiled.
