*third person's POV*
As graduation got closer, a little less than a month, Parker thought more and more about what she would be doing after school. She still knew that working in an office wasn't the thing for her. She knew that going to college immediately after school wasn't what she wanted.
Parker had been sitting around Esmeralda's little apartment. They had been speaking about what should be planned, and Esmeralda suggested one thing that managed to catch Parker's interest quite well. She knew that following along with that plan would not be a simple task, but doing something different than all of her classmates would never be an easy accomplishment.
"I have to go home now, but I'll talk to my parents about the-"
"No," Esmeralda interrupted, "if you do this, you have to do this without them. This is for you, not them. Remember that."
Parker nodded before giving her new mother figure a hug, and leaving to go and think about the new plan that would be her future.
