"Monument to Life"
Many will fall
Many will rise
But I will never die
I with words build a monument to life
To weather and withstand strife
On a thousand tongues it will resound For now I fly heaven bound
No longer restricted by the mortal coil
But now I have no voice, no soil
A tragic foil
In who can can I plant my roots
A old bard who cast aside his lute
A child set aside
who without thought will abide
The horror who stands as a wonder
After a horrible blunder
Each lack the will of a leader
And follow along like the reader
Write your own story
And soak in your rightful glory
A thousand tongues will sing
And you will reign as King
With but a few words
You push us to the door
To enact thine will
But what of the bill
Thousands dead
Haunt you in your bed
Sins are grave
Yet be brave
The loss is certain
As well as the lowering of the curtain
So put on a show
Before curtains go low
On the stage I left my mark
Now be the spark
Ignite the hearts, my dear Monarch
