"Guardian Angels"
In the darkest of battles they arrive
Heard world wide yet less often spied
They descend from the heavens above
To shower us with unmistakable love
Too late they arrive this day
A man bleeding out much on his way
They flock around him and heal his wounds
While jubilantly humming a tune
All of perfect pitch and tempo
What beautiful voices they own
A mere question
Followed by a lesson
After spying a bloody knife
Why would a man take his life
Tears spill from various eyes
As the man softly cries
In the arms of a angel
He found himself tangled
All with a listening ear
They learned his hopes and fears
What drove him to self-harm
Each sat alarmed
Scared to lose a blessed friend
No one wanted their chat to end
But it must, he isn't alone in his fight
Many others suffer the same plight
The man's life changed in one night
As he gazed dreamily to the stars awaiting a blessed sight
