Hair
It was late one night when this strange event happened to me. I was working on my final section for the newspaper I was publishing this coming weekend. I peeked over at the clock. It was already 11:30. I wanted to get home by midnight so I picked up my paper to make copies. I scurried my way to the photo copier and placed my paper on the glass. I leaned my back on the wall waiting for the copy to be done.
"Beep beep!" The print was done and I picked up the copy.
"What is this?"
Something strange appeared on the print. It looked like strands of hair scattered across my paper. I opened the lid and looked at the original. The original was clear. No bents or torn parts and most importantly no hair. I figured it was the copier and I went to look under the glass but there was nothing there.
"How strange, I'll just make another copy."
I pressed the button and made another print. The machine began to beep furiously printing one by one.
"Huh!? Stop!" I headed for the stop button as I saw the papers that were ejecting. Every time a new page came out, more and more hair would appear on each page. I panicked and plugged out the cord.
"What the hell?"
I held the papers in my hand and decided to check the inside of the machine. Slowly pulling out the cart tray at the bottom, I was nervous. Pulling it open quickly I saw nothing inside.
"Ah I must be tired."
I decided to plug the machine in to make another print.
Beep beep. The machine printed my paper once again. This time it was normal. I grabbed it and took it to my desk to pack up.
Beep beep.
I looked up and realized I forgot to turn it off. I went over to press the off switch on the machine.
"Mmmmmm." A moan behind me creeps up on me.
My mind was scared and tensed. I slowly turned as I saw a bloody floating head.
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
I ran out my office quickly dashing off into the night. Ever since that night, I never went back into that office again.
