Hello, I'm Natalie I'm just like any other kid. I was born, I have parents and a family who love me dearly. What others don't know about me is that they aren't real. Now before you start thinking I am crazy, let me explain. When your entire family ditches you to go on a vacation on a cruise ship and doesn't come back, you start to believe they're dead and start creating your own fantasies. But now, I have no family left. You may be asking, who would leave their child all alone? Well if your child was a 15 year old prodigy who is perfectly capable of taking care of herself, then maybe you would leave for vacation. The problem is I still haven't figured out my life. To be honest, I don't know what i'm going to eat tomorrow. So now I have to learn how to adult at age 15.

I was just as surprised as you are when I got a letter in the mail. It was supposedly from my mom and dad, saying they enrolled me into a private school for prodigies. They wrote this letter.

Dear Natalie,

I am writing this letter to inform you that we have enrolled you into Millennium School of Fine Arts and Prodigies. Your First day of school is August 22, 2017. Do not expect to get a uniform in the mail. Because this is a school of fine art, they allow for students to wear whatever they feel wearing to express themselves. I have sent $1000 in the mail for you to go shopping for clothes and other things you will need for when school begins, once a month i will also send you $200 for you to buy food and other necessities. I apologize for us not being there with you when you are beginning school, but don't worry because we have enrolled your twin sister, Mikayla, into the high school here on the cruise ship where she is also getting a well education. We don't know the time of our return at this point but we will eventually return.

Love,
Mother, Father, Mikayla and the rest of the family.

The fact that my parents will just be sending me money all the time surprised me. I knew we were rich but, where are they getting all this money from, especially on vacation. I decided not to question that part. I also realized that my parents enrolled me in a school where none of my friends were going. They know I'd prefer to go to the school where at least ONE of my friends were going, but I guess Millennium is closer to home. Neither these were things I didn't think my parents would do, but I shrugged it all off by the end of the day.

I just had a feeling something was off and I was right in the middle of it.
