-3rd person-
Mike hurried his way down the aisle, the guests quiet chatter becoming silent. Jeremy's music began to play, and Mike could see Jeremy from his place.
Jeremy was obviously trembling, his body curling in on itself as he waddled his way down the aisle. He gripped his bouquet of blue and green roses close to his chest, as he walked his way to Mike.
Standing in front of him, Jeremy handed his flowers to Vincent, and Mike took Jeremy's hands.
The older male brought up the smaller ones hands, pressing tiny kisses to his left and right ring fingers.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate the enteral bonds between these two lovely men..." Began the pastor. The two of them couldn't take their eyes off each other.
Mike leaned forward, reaching up and cupping the right side of Jeremy's chubby face. "...you look so beautiful..." He whispered, and everyone in the hall saw Jeremy turn pink.
"...you l-look very handsome..." The emerald eyed one whispered back. They grew quiet, and Jeremy saw Mikes mother tearing up.
As the man in front of them spoke, Jeremy nervously rehearsed over his vows. He was so nervous, he even missed his cue when the pastor mentioned it.
"Jeremiah?"
Jeremy squeaked to realization. "O-Oh-- heh... I'm s-sorry."
Mike squeezed Jeremy's hands comfortingly, gulping.
"It's okay, Mr. Fitzgerald. Do you have any vows, before you sign the papers?" The pastor handed over Mikes ring.
"W-Well..." The smaller cleared his throat. "When I was... younger.. My m-mom.. always used to tell me.. That I'd meet me soulmate someday.." Jeremy paused. "I n-never believed her... That day I started working at the pizzeria.. I never thought I'd ever.. ever meet my h-husband that day. Never... t-thought that I was even.. gay." He looked up at the man holding his hands. "But.. when we first kissed.. and you a-asked me out.. I knew everything was going to be okay... I.. I w-wish she could see me now." The boy took Mikes hand and put the ring on his ring finger.
Mike and Jeremy both had tears trailing down their faces as Jeremiah finished. The icy eyed man reached his thumb up, and wiped the trailing tears away from his quiet partner.
"T-That was beautiful." Said Michael, gently pinching his baby boys face. Micah in the audience hugged Scott's arm, who lifted the small little boy into his lap.
"Thank you..." Jeremy said in a rushed voice.
The pastor smiled. "Michael? What about you?" He handed over the other ring.
"It's... not much. But..." Mike cleared his throat and tugged the small boy closer. "I love you so much, Jeremiah... Just.. Your body, your personality, your smile... T-The way your name rolls off my tongue so easily... Everything about you is so amazing, and I want to thank you 800 times over for agreeing to date me... let alone marry me. I want so many things, Jeremy. And I'm so glad that one of them is you." Michael smiled, and placed the golden band around Jeremy's slender finger.
Jeremy was in sobbing tears when Mike finished. He lowered his head and weakly smiled, and Mike lifted his face to see him. They both smiled.
After taking the few minutes to sign the papers, they hurried back to their places, and the pastor spoke to the audience.
"If anyone objects to this union, please speak now, or forever hold your peace."
Silence filled the room. Jeremiah became giddy, and Mike could barely hold himself back.
"Then... By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you Husband, and Husband! You may now kiss the bride!"
Michael didn't even hesitate. He grabbed the smaller other, and dipped him to the ground. After the shock wore off, they pressed their faces together in a long, wondrous moment of passion and love.
They tangled their fingers in each others hair, and they slowly parted ways. Everyone cheered, as they rested their foreheads on the others.
"Jeremiah Schmidt... I fucking love you so much..." Michael said, holding his husband close and kissing his ring.
"I l-love you more, Michael... I.. in so glad I'm such a fool for you." Jeremiah gave a pure giggle, as Michael kissed his salty tears away.
"I am too..."
As they continued the reception, Michael did make a point to coat Jeremy's chubby face in the vanilla cake, and Jeremy made sure to get him back. Feeding each other grossed out their adopted little boy, but Micah laughed.
Towards the end of the night, the two joined hands, hearts, and love as they got together for their first dance as an official married couple.
Jeremiah placed his one hand on Mikes shoulder, his other interlocking with the other. Michael himself held tight to Jeremy's waist, and they swayed and danced to their song of choice.
If you'd asked either of them what anyone else was doing in that moment, neither could give a straight answer. They were too lost in their lovers eyes, the beating of their hearts, and the light brushing of their lips when their song ended.
Michael took Jeremy in his arms, holding him close as they kissed again.
Neither would complain, as they missed so many loving moments together planning for this moment, and neither of them wanted to miss the intoxicating taste of the others lips.
Even when they pulled away, the ghost of the taste haunted their taste buds.
As planned, Jeremy kicked off his shoes and danced the rest of the night with his son, friends, and his amazing husband.
Even though Scott had to carry a hammered Vince out on his shoulders, wishing the merry couple on their way, (Micah joined them, so the two could immediately leave for their honey moon)
They have never, in their lives, been so happy and in love. Neither of them would have it any other way.
