(3rd person)
"Do I h-have to wear a suit, mommy?"
Jeremy glanced up from his story book (ok, more like manga book) and over to his son. He was the ring bearer at their wedding, and the boy couldn't've been more nervous for when the day came.
Plans were almost completed, and Jeremy made sure to run every decoration idea he had and wanted by Mike, who always told the fluffy haired male he could have anything he wanted. And of course, Jeremy blushed and punched his arm every time.
"No, course not honey. You don't have to, you just have to look nice." Jeremy assured, patting the boys soft, black locks of hair.
"I do?"
"It's a wedding, sweetpea. You have to look nice for all the pictures and everything like that." Jeremy bookmarked his page, pulling his son over by the waist and sitting him on his lap. Mike was having a nap after work, being really tired after all.
"Pic...tures?" Micah looked over. "What are those?"
"I'll show you." The boy's mother took out his phone, and went to the photos. He swiped through so pictures of him and Mike that he had to basically threaten Mikes Nintendo to get him to take. Micah watched.
"Could... We take some pictures?" Micah looked up. Jeremy smiled, going to his camera.
"Course we can." He held up his phone, pulling his son close. They made a couple cute faces, and a few silly.
"Tanks, Mommy." Micah smiled at his mom, hugging him tight. Jeremy smiled, hugging him back.
"You're welcome, Micah." He was still getting used to calling his son "Micah", and not Mari. But he wouldn't call his baby the wrong name, Mari obviously reminded him of being a Marionette.
"I like my new family. It's better then my old one." Micah mumbled into Jeremys shirt. Jeremy pet his hair, and rubbed his back.
"It's better then my old family too, honey..." Jeremy quietly admitted, looking down at the boy.
"Momma... What was your family like?"
It's funny how such an innocent question... Could make Jeremy so tense and uneasy. He bit his lip and looked down at the child.
"It's not your worry, sweetie.... Don't worry, you'll learn when you're bigger." Jeremy pat his head.
"Why? Why can't I learn now?" Micah pouted. Jeremy softly laughed, kissing his forehead.
"You're a little too small to understand, baby boy, but you'll learn soon. Now, I think daddy has slept long enough, what do you think?"
"Mhm!" Micah squeaked, giggling, as they both got up. Jeremy carried him to the bedroom, so they could be quiet. He placed him on the floor beside the bed.
"Alright baby, you can do it." Jeremy whispered. He helped Micah into the bed, and he started to jump, so he could wake up his daddy.
"Wha-- what wha-!?" Mike sputtered, snapping out of his dream and shooting up. His family snickered, giggling adorably. Mike rolled his eyes, grabbing his son and tickling his little belly.
"Wha-- Daddy n-nooo! Mama save me!" Micah snorted, Mike grinning. Jeremy moved closer.
"Leave mah son alone!" He squeaked, trying to grab the child. Instead, Mike pulled him down and tickled him with his other hand. "m-Mikey-- Noooo!"
"Mikey yes. You want to wake me again?"
"N-No daddy!" Micah panted.
"Promise?"
"Yes!" Coughed Jeremy. Mike pulled away from them, but sat back to watch them giggle.
"That was cruel." Snarked the smaller male, wrinkling his nose. Micah giggled at his parents silliness.
"That's what you get, Baby." Mike kissed Jeremy nose, smiling. The little male blushed as his son "eww'd". Mike rolled his eyes.
Secretly, he loved it. He loved his new family. He was happy. Happier then he'd ever been with Doll. And nothing would take away his perfect family.
Nothing.
