-Jeremy's POV-

As I dressed, I didn't let Mike see me. He told me just dressy casual, but I still wanted to look nice!

As I dressed, I pulled a short sleeved black shirt over my head, and some cute jean shorts Mike bought me. I tied one of his flannels around my waist and fixed my black knees socks, before pulling on my black converse.

Mike came downstairs shortly after I left in a white shirt, black jeans, and a blue flannel. He wore his signature grey beanie over his messy, dark hair. We smiled at eachother.

"You look beautiful..." He said as he walked over. Placing his hands on my hips, he pulled me closer to him.

"W-Where are we going...?" I asked softly, looking up to him. He poked my nose with a chuckle.

"That's for me to know and you to find out." Said Mike, squishing my waist before letting me go. I pouted as he pulled on his own shoes, took my hand, and we left.

As we get to the car, I kept glancing at Mike. I caught him staring at me, which made me blush and turn away.

"Aww..."

"No. No aww."

"That was adorable!!" Mike squealed out, reaching to my face and squishing my cheeks together. "Chubby baby is so embarrassed!"

I squealed in embarrassment, turning more red. "M-Mike!!" I tried to turn my head away, but I couldn't cause he kept squishing me!

"Awwww!" He pulled me closer and squeezed me more. I almost growled.

"Staphh!!"

"Okay okay." He stopped, helping me into the car. He got in on the other side, and then we drove off. I watched a bird from the window.

It followed our car. The dark coloured bird had rainbow feathers under its wings. It looked so free.. I wish I could fly like it, without a plane. Flying on the sky.. It's such a beautiful creature, too. I've always wanted a bird.

"Babe, you okay?"

I looked at my husband. He wasn't a bird. He was more like a dog. Bear? His hair was an almost black, his skin was a caramel colour. He was beautiful.

"I'm perfect, sweetie." I smiled at him, and he held my hand as we pulled up to the movie theatre. "The movies?"

Mike parked the car and we went into the theatre. He ushered me in, since he bought tickets already, he told me. "You've wanted to see Moana, right?"

"Yeah... B-But I checked, it was sold out...?" I questioned.

"I bought them off Scott. Him and Vince were gonna go, but I bought them off him because Scott got called into work and didn't want to waste the tickets." Mike explained, giving a small shrug as we waited in line for food.

"Aw.. I heard Vince really w-wanted to see it." I gave a frown.

We ordered our popcorn. Well, Mike got popcorn and a drink, and I got nachos. "They said they'll wait until it's on DVD or when it's not as popular..."

"That doesn't help."

Walking into the theatre, we sat at the back and chattered to ourselves until more people filed in and the movie eventually started.

It was everything I hoped and more. I loved it.

We filed out of the theatre, the both of us smiling.

"C-Can we sing that song from the beginning...?" I squeaked out. Mike rolled his eyes, but smiled.

"Sure. You can sing it to me in the car, k?"

I gave a proud nod and we hurried to the car. When we got in, Mike turned off the radio and motioned for me to sing as he drove us off.

(MOANA SPOILERS BELOW)

"I've been staring at the edge of the water..
'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why..
I wish I could be the perfect daughter...
But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try.."

Mike smiled to me, turning a corner as he listened.

" Every turn I take, every trail I track...
Every path I make, every road leads back...
To the place I know, where I cannot go..
Where I long to be..."

I couldn't stop smiling. Mike held my hand tightly as he drove carefully.

"See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me..!
And no one knows, how far it goes!
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me...
One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go...

Oh oh oh, oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh
Oh oh oh, oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh

I know, everybody on this island seems so happy on this island.
Everything is by design.
I know, everybody on this island has a role on this island.
So maybe I can roll with mine.

I can lead with pride, I can make us strong.
I'll be satisfied if I play along.
But the voice inside sings a different song..
What is wrong with me?"

Mike wrinkled his nose at that line.

"See the light as it shines on the sea? It's blinding..
But no one knows, how deep it goes.
And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me..
And let me know, what's beyond that line, will I cross that line?

See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me...!
And no one knows, how far it goes...
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me..
One day I'll know, how far I'll go.."

(END)

"Fuck, Jeremy..." Mike sighed. "Your voice is so beautiful."

"Y-You should sing that song Mowi did!" I encouraged. Mike gave a chuckle.

"Nah, I'm okay for now. Maybe later." He pat my head as we turned into a restaurant. I blushed.

"Okay... Um.. where are we?"

"It's not exactly fancy... But I got a raise at work and wanted to treat you." He smiled at me. I gave a big smile and hugged him tightly.

"Baby, that's amazing!! Why didn't you tell me...?" I squeaked out, hiding in his shirt.

"I wanted to surprise you."

"It worked."

We both smiled and headed inside, holding hands as we walked. I felt Mikes fingers fiddling with my ring and I blushed hard.

"I love you." We said in unison. That made us both laugh.
