I was swaddled in a tight embrace inside Mark's arms as my body bounced gently from each foot step he toke. Personally, I was starting to get pretty comfortable with the back and forth traveling to different lab rooms! They were actually really fun since they were the only times I ever got to get out of the tank. I felt a disgusted expression lift onto my face as I looked around. Expect this time, there is a whole group of scientists following us!

As we walked through the dim hallways lighted by the soothing morning light, a herd of eager marine biologists surrounding us as they pestered and bombarded Mark and I with questions. The scientists' eyes were flowing with astonishment as they would huddle so close around Mark and I that we would get cramped up against everyone. Shouting filled the long hallways as we miserably failed to attempt to walk straight to the lab.

"How has he been cooperating with you Mark?" A voice called out.

"Is he able to understand us?" A scientist tapped Mark lightly on the shoulder.

"Can he interact?" A higher pitched tone asked beside me.

"Is his biology more aligned with fish analogy?" A woman questioned.

I felt my eyes widen with the sudden extreme of clashing voices as a splitting headache started to nag at me. Please don't ask me! I can barely talk simply to just a group!

The scientists would stubble over each other as they shoved themselves closer to me in a frantic knot of flailing arms. "Uhh...Umm...?" I uneasily stammered as I gazed up desperately towards Mark, I saw that his eyes were flickering from the crowd down to me. His face first appeared to be slightly annoyed as he tried to push himself through the crowd but lightened when both our gazes locked. His expression soften with concern as his warm brown eyes hollowed with sympathy. Mark rapidly stopped, I suddenly heard a vicious stomp smash hard against the tiled floor as the corridor abruptly went silent. Every scientists' head snapped towards Mark as they gazed frightfully at the impatient red haired man.

"Ok enough everyone! Your going to need to get out of the way! Give Jack some space!" Mark strongly shouted as his demand rung clearly over the group, their constant questioning had died down into low mumbling and murmurs. The hallway was quiet, only the sound of shuffling feet could be heard. Mark stood still with me hanging limply in his arms, draped in damp towels. For a second as he scanned the whole group of scientists surrounding us, their faces were filled with surprise and eyes showed slight fear. Mark harshly breathed out a frustrated sigh as he closed his eyes faintly, I felt his arms relax under me as I gazed confusingly around us. "I will answer all your questions once we get to the Observation Aquarium but please, let Jack have some peace." Mark spoke calmly as his gaze swept over the crowd, their expressions were completely blank as their eyes flitted to one another, probably scared to question his commands. He was the leading scientist for me after all...

"Y-yes ple-ease, t-thank you..." My quivering voice pleaded shyly, I gazed around and saw that everyone started to reluctantly walk again as they shot Mark frightful glances. I peered up at Mark again and saw him looking down with me with a gentle smile rising. He tilted his head down as his mouth brushed against my ear, I could feel his breath on my skin as he raised me slightly upwards towards his face. "I saw you were feeling a little uncomfortable, your welcome." He whispered softly into my ear as he drew back his head and gave me another bright grin. I gave him in return a silly smirk as I slid my hand up his arm and grabbed onto his bicep. I straightened my back up as I leaned my face close into one of his ears.

"My hero..." I murmured affectionately as I moved my hand gently up his back, drifting my fingers along every spine ridge and shoulder blade. I felt him flinch quickly under my touch as a low bellowing laugh snuck up into his throat. His eyes swirled with deep tenderness as I saw them swiftly check if the coast was clear. I followed his gaze and glanced in front of us to see that all the scientists were walking straight ahead, not even minding us. I realized my heart was thumping profoundly as a lopsided quirky smile arose onto me. Oh I know what he's gonna do... And I'm ready for it...
