Hurt like hell

~FLASHBACK~

I was 5 years old, I can't remember much of anything before this day. We got chased into the woods near my house, late at night. I could see my mother, screaming in pain from a monster? No it looked too human... a woman maybe?

"(Y/N) RUN!" My mother screamed while trying to get out of the woman's grasp. I ran for my life, tears streaming down from my face. Soon my mothers screams ended, and the monster was coming after me.

She pined me down, I could feel my soul being drained, however just before I was completely dead, my father hit her in the back of the head. She quickly killed my father and must have thought she had my entire soul, because she left soon after.

After about a week staying with my parents corpses, and crying the entire time, with no food, and no water, I made my way back to civilization. Meanwhile, I came across an almost dead kitten, I stat down and I started to cry again, hugging the kitten close to my shaking body. Hours passed and at one point the kitten had died and merged with my body. I gained cat ears, a tail, long sharp fingernails, and (E/C) cat looking eyes.

Finally, after I was somewhat okay. I continued walking towards the town that was about a half hours walk from my house. People saw me, and thought I was a demon, most likely the one that killed my parents (and siblings if you have any) the towns people, chased me. I ran and ran, until I realized I had transformed into a little cat. The towns people became confused, and I snuck out, in the dead of night

~END FLASHBACK~

My eyes were tearing up, but I managed to hold the tears back. "no way am I going to let her see me break down." The woman lifted up my chin, and examined me. She seemed unimpressed, so she went over to the boy beside me. "HANNAH!" Came a shout from upstairs. She quickly left and obviously locked the door behind her, although I was a half demon and I could just break it down easily.

I quickly started to look around the room for an escape route. "Can't go through the door, demons don't sleep and she'll just catch us." I kept looking around and realized that there was a small window with bars. "Looks big enough for an animal... my cat form! But what about the kid?" I looked at the boy, he didn't seem to be very worried. "maybe if I break the bars from the outside, the boy could climb through!"

I took a deep breath. "only three other people know I'm a cat, and there all dead..." I transformed, the ropes fell to the ground, along with the cloth that was in my mouth. The boy looked at me wide eyed. "Really hope he doesn't tell anyone..." I slowly tilted my head and smiled, he seemed to understand and proceeded to nod at me.

I walked around behind him, and clawed the ropes that were tied around the boy. The ropes snapped, and he grabbed the cloth out of his mouth. "He seems fine, now all I have to do is get him out...FUN!"

I jumped on a couple of boxes and random things that were in the room. I made my way to the window and crawled out. "Wow! It feels a lot better out in the open!" I looked down at the boy, he had a look that said 'what are you waiting for?' I concentrated as hard as I could. I had only used this power one before, and whenever I tried it again I sadly failed.  I straightened my tail hoping that this time my power would work. I moved my tail at full speed towards the bars, and they actually BROKE IN HALF! ...well all of them except one, one of them was only slightly dented. The slightly dented bar didn't make a difference for the boys escape, he could easily crawl through now, however since it wasn't a full on cut, my tail hurt like hell!!!
